Mando and I were looking for nearby planets that were off the grid to stay on for a while, and the kid was standing next to Mando in front of the controls. Everything was calm, quiet, until the child decided to flick a switch next to him, causing the backup power to come online needlessly. "Stop touching things." Mando said, warning clear in his voice.

The child, who seemed to have a difficulty grasping the reality of sight, and the fact that moving like a sloth does not make you invisible, reached out again slowly, flicking off the stabilizer, causing the ship to shake around violently, making me give a little shout of surprise. Mando immediately reactivated the stabilizer, grabbing the kid and putting him in his lap.

"You alright?" Mando checked with me.

I nodded, grinning at the sight of the little green ball in Mando's arms. "I'm fine. You two look so cute!" I cooed. "Admit it, you love this tiny hobgoblin."

"Shut up." Came the gruff reply, making me laugh as I returned to my search for a suitable planet.

"Hey, I found something that looks good." I said, putting up the system on Mando's screen so he could take a look.

"Sorgan. Looks like there's no starport, no industrial centres, no population density. Real backwater skug hole. Which means it's perfect for us." He spoke.

I nodded at him. "That's what I thought."

"You ready to lay low and stretch your legs for a couple of months, you little womp rat?" He asked the kid rhetorically, making me chuckle to myself.

We made our way to the planet's surface. "Pretty." I commented, looking at the trees and colours surrounding us. The Mandalorian shut off the engines and turned in his chair to face me, the tilt of his helmet letting me know what he was about to say. "No." I told him before he could ask me to stay with the kid again. "You tricked me with that on the fuel stop, remember where that got you? No, I'm coming this time." I got up and stalked into the hall, not giving him a chance to argue with me.

"Alright. Since she's not willing to stay with you you're gonna have to wait here by yourself. We're just going to go out there and look around. It shouldn't take too long. Now, don't touch anything." I couldn't help but grin widely at the one-sided conversation the Mandalorian was having with the child. "I'll find us some lodging, then I'll come back for you. You stay right here." There was a pause as Mando waited for any sort of response or acknowledgement from the kid. "You stay. Don't move. You understand? Great." Mando followed me into the hall and I gave him a small smirk.

"Said your goodbyes?" I chuckled. I could almost feel the eye roll he must've given me from underneath that helmet as he opened up the ramp.

Sunlight broke across our faces, making me squint a little as I realized the kid had somehow made it right next to us in front of the ramp. "Oh what the hell." Mando almost sighed in defeat. "Come on."

I grinned at the kid and picked him up so he didn't have to run with his tiny legs to keep up with us.

"You're spoiling him." Mando commented.

I shrugged, "I'll let him walk on his own later, but look at the size of him, how's he supposed to keep up with us? There are twigs on the ground taller than him."

"He can keep up just fine."

"Oh, let him be you ol' grump." I laughed at Mando's parental attitude.

We made our way to the small town near our landing site, entering a small grub hut. I had set the kid down a while ago, giving into Mando's silent disapproval.
