Fowl Manor
"I know it is dangerous, Butler. I must see her again. I believe I can help her."
"Of all times for you to want to help somebody. Honestly, Artemis, I don't think that is a good idea." Butler replied.
"I'm sorry, old friend, but I must see her. If I have to, I will land my plane in her yard. That might be slightly out of the ordinary."
Butler rolled his eyes. "Why do you need to talk to her so bad?"
"Well, I may have snooped around her life a bit. I found some very interesting things that I believe I can help." Artemis looked guilty.
"I should've known." Butler grumbled.
"I promise that I won't do anything dangerous. I just want to talk to her." Artemis lied.
"When do you want to go?" Butler conceded.
"Now, or as soon as possible."
"I'll prepare the car."
Once Butler was gone, Artemis went to his lab. He retrieved a small device that fit in the palm of his hand. Artemis returned downstairs, and found Butler. Butler escorted Artemis to the spacious garage. Artemis slid into the back seat of the Bentley.
"You know where to go." Artemis directed.
The car started and pulled out of the drive. The landscape of Dublin unfolded before them. The beauty of the place still amazed Artemis. Even though he was witness to it everyday, it always seemed new. The car ride seemed shorter than usual. They pulled up to the house at one-thirty on the dot.
"Perfect timing." Artemis remarked. "Let the confrontation begin."
