Koboi Labs
Opal sat in her hoverboy chair, grinning. She was looking at a huge screen on the wall. On the first screen, there was a live feed coming from her creatures iris cam. She could see it moving into the town.
"Good, that little spell I put on you was just perfect." Opal said evilly.
"Miss Koboi?" a timid voice at the door asked.
"What is it Merval?" Opal snapped.
"Well, uh, the uh, the girl. She managed to, uh, contact a human." Merval stammered.
"Oh no! Opal exclaimed, a look of mock horror on her face. "You can't tell me she got on a social networking site."
"No, I mean, uh, the human she contacted is, uh..."
"Who was it Merval?" Opal demanded impatiently.
After a long hesitation Merval spoke. "It was Artemis Fowl."
"What?" Opal shreiked. "He is always the one spoiling my plans! But not this time, Artemis Fowl will not win again! This time..."
Merval had slowly backed out of the room. You didn't want to be in the same room as Opal when she got mad.
Once in the hallway, Merval breathed a sigh of relief. Talking to Miss Koboi was never easy. The only reason he hadn't quit already was because the pay was good. And if he quit, being in a room with a dwarf who had just eaten five pounds of beans was more appealing than the other consequences. So here he was, a servant to a narcissistic pixie who was obsessed with taking over the world.
It was Merval's job to supervise the lab workers. So off he went, set on his task of reporting the lab workers progress to Miss Koboi.
