Opal stood in her laboratory. She was standing in front of a large table. On the table there was a set of holographic touch screens and a microscope. There were shelves and cabinets lining the walls. On the counters, there were various pieces of lab equipment. For hours Opal had stood over the table, peering through the microscope and examining the diagrams on the screen.
There, she had created her creature. She had taken DNA from herself, making sure her creature was a genius as well. For troll DNA, she had scoped out the bravest and biggest troll. This ensured that her creature would be the ultimate servant. With the creature possessed, it could execute any task it was assigned.
Now, Opal was trying to improve her creature. What could it do if it could switch bodies? Opal wondered. If it could act like the girl's mother, what could it accomplish? With this in mind, Opal began to plan. Just think of all the evil it could do. With the girl and my creature, I could take over the world. These thoughts fueled her thinking. After a while, she began to feed information into the screen.
Once she completed telling the computer what it was to do, she left the room. She locked the steel door with her fingerprint and retina scanners. There were other matters to attend to.
Opal entered her security booth. She had several screens on the wall. On one screen, you could see various parts of the building. The next screen displayed the view from the creature's iris cam. There were a few more screens displaying the downstairs labs. Good, everything appears to be going well. Opal sighed contentedly, dreams of world domination overwhelming all other thoughts.
