I roll my eyes and walk off. He being so difficult, like wearing a damn tie for two hours gone really hurt his ass. The more I spend time with him the more I realize he is incredibly stubborn. I find the perfume section and began test smelling.

"There yo ass go." Tjay catches up with me and tries to hug me but I push him back. "What?" He asks.
I ignore him and continue on with the perfume.
"You mad at me or sum?" He asks again. I continue on with the perfume acting like he doesn't exist.
"Come on Nah, you odeing." He tries to pull me, but I swipe away.
"Why you gotta be so stubborn tjay?" I finally speak.
"How I'm stubborn I just don't wanna wear a tie." He lets out a little laugh. He think this shit is funny.
"And yo ass laughing too? This not funny my daddy already don't like you just cause of jd. I just want tonight to be perfect, I need him to like you."
"He will, you stressed out about nothing, I ain't nun like that nigga jd. He gone see that." He kisses my forehead and intertwines our hands.

"Cause he's my boyfriend, it's about time you've met him." I say and leave him be. I walk into the kitchen and join my mom with the cooking.

"No, but come here." She waves me over and I lift myself up on the counter.

"Oh my fuc- no mom." I jump off the counter and she burst out laughing.
