Audrey's POV

"Well that was a pretty good 65 minutes for you." Jessie says as I sit down next to her on the bench.

We're playing Chelsea right now and we're up 4-0 with myself getting one goal and assisting Katie, Daan, and Viv's goals.

"I guess it was pretty good." I say then take a drink of water.

"FLEMING GO WARM UP." Joe shouts.

"See ya Audi." Jessie says then she gets up and leaves the bench.

A couple minutes later Jessie subs in for Daan then Daan gingerly walks over to the bench and sits next to me.

"You okay?" I ask.

"My calves are cramping." The Dutch woman says.

"Mind if I try something?" I question.

"Go ahead." Daan says.

I lightly grab Daan's legs, move them to my lap, then start massaging my favorite teammates calves.

"Is this okay?" I question.

"Mhmm." Daan says and nods. "It's great."

Daan and I talk to each other for the rest of the match while I massage Daan's legs then when the final whistle blows Daan and I get off the bench and shake hands with everyone. I then head into the locker room so I can take first shower.

After my shower I dry off, put my necklaces on then put my earrings and nose ring in before I put my clothes on.

"TEAM BONDING AT JESSIE AND KATIE'S AT 7." Kim yells as I pack my stuff up.

"BRING YOUR OWN DINNER." Katie shouts.

"We'll have snacks." Jessie calmly says as I finish packing my stuff.

"Daan I'll be in the car." I say.

Daan nods so I grab my stuff and head to my car. When get to my car I put my bag in the trunk then get in the drivers seat and wait for Daan.

Daan and I have gotten really close since I got here and I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a crush on her. We spend a lot of time together outside of the pitch and she makes me feel things I didn't even feel with Maya.

"Audi you okay?" Daan says from beside me.

"Uh What?"

"You zoned out." My crush says.

"Sorry." I say then start driving to Daan's apartment.

"You alright?" Daan questions.

"Yeah I'm fine." I say.

"Something on your mind?"

"Just some family stuff." I say.

I'm not actually lying since I do have some family stuff to deal with.

"Anything I can help with?" Daan asks.

"Not really." I say. "Just some stuff I need to deal with concerning my Mom and her Ex."

"What's going on?"

"Mom's ex's lawyers have accused someone on the jury of the trial against Mom's ex of knowing Mom and I so they're pushing for a mistrial or dismissal of the charges." I say.

"Well Damn." Daan says. "Is it true?"

"No." I say. "Neither Mom or I know her."

"So what are you gonna do?"

"During SheBelieves Mom and I have to go before a judge and prove we don't know who the woman is."

"Well that sounds difficult." Daan says.

"Very." I say. "But enough about my family issue's, what's new in your world?"

Daan and I talk about more light hearted stuff for the rest of the drive to her apartment and when we get there I drop her off then head to my apartment. When I get to my apartment building I park in the underground garage then I head up to my penthouse. When I get into my penthouse I look at the time and see it's 5:40 so I head into my bathroom, strip nude, and take a shower. Once I'm clean and sweet smelling I get out of the shower, dry myself off, then get dressed.

After I'm dressed I order some dinner, wait for it to arrive, pay for it when it arrives, then I grab my stuff and head back down to my car. Once at my car I get in then head to Katie and Jessie's place.

15 minutes later I arrive at Katie and Jessie's place so I park, grab my food, get out of the car, head to the door, then knock on the door and wait.

"Hey Audrey." Katie says as she lets me into her home.

"Hey Katie." I say as I walk into the house.

Once in the house I follow Katie to the dining room then sit down in the only seat left which is in-between Leah and Jessie.

After I sit down I start eating my food while talking with the people around me.

"Audrey can I ask you something?" Jessie whispers and I nod. "Do you have a crush on..."

"Who does Audrey have a crush on?" Leah asks.

"Sorry Audi." Jessie sheepishly says.

"It's fine Jessie." I say then I look at the team. "I do have a crush, but i'm not saying who."

"Oh we'll find out." Lisa says then she sticks her tongue out at me.

"Is Lisa still mad at you?" Daan questions.

"Apparently." I say.

"Why is she mad at you?" Viv questions.

"We beat Scotland two weeks ago." I say.

"And you scored." Lisa mumbles.

"Lisa chill." Kim says.

"Fine." Lisa playfully says.

"So Audi." Katie says. "How's it feel to be one of the captains for the US?"

"You're a captain now?" Jordan asks.

"The team voted me to be 2nd-Vice Captain." I say.

"Audrey that's amazing." Kim says.

"I'm never going to wear the armband so it doesn't really matter."

"Audrey you're a captain of your country." Lisa says. "That's a huge deal."

"Maybe." I mumble.

"You don't think you're the right person to be a captain do you?" Daan asks and I shake my head no.

"I don't." I say. "I cause way to much shit whenever I speak."

"Maybe your teammates respect you for speaking your mind." Kim says then I shrug.

"Who are the other captains." Jordan asks.

"Julie Ertz is Captain and Christen Press is Vice-Captain."

"I also heard you were named an Executive Committee Member." Kim says and I nod.

"When did all this happen?" Viv questions.

"During one of our off days in Scotland we had a team meeting to do decide captains that will stay the same up until after the 2024 Olympics." I say. "After the captains were decided the coaching staff left then we had a players meeting to decide the leadership for our US Women's National Team Player Association and I was voted into a leadership role along with Sam Mewis and Kelley O'Hara." I say.

"That's awesome Audi." Lisa says. "But what about this crush of yours?"
