I began researching the name under Marquis Landon Roswell through my informant and found that he was rumored to be the leader of the Arlanta Radicals.

Arlanta is a small country to the north of the present country we live in called Eldera. It was once a country on amicable terms with Eldera, until fights over mining rights of Mount Grain occurred. War erupted eventually erupted, and Arlanta lost their homeland and assimilated into Eldera ten years ago.

The reason for their loss despite their highly acclaimed magic tool was mainly due to one man Sheze Chaldean. At the time, most military tactics were devised by King Raze. The most impossible sounding missions were accomplished without fail by Sheze despite being only a mere seventeen years of age. Within just two weeks, the entire country fell.

However, a radical group has been formed from leftover nobility and has been recently gaining power through makeshift potions that cause mass hysteria and stress in the recent year.

The question is why they are making their movement now? Also, where are they getting their supply of potions? Has a Witch decided to join their side?

"What kind of person is Marquis Landon Roswell?" I asked Koran while we were alone in my office.

"The Marquis was originally a Duke and engaged to a Princess of Arlanta. That man was meant to become King had the country not decided to go to war with Eldera," Koran answered.

Originally meant for the Arlanta Royalty...No wonder he is now the leader of the Arlanta Radical group.

"It was the Marquis who sent that assassin to me," I said.

"Just why would he send an assassin to you?" Koran asked.

"I suspect that it has to do with revenge. Sheze was primarily the reason why Arlanta fell in the first place. It would not be strange for there to be one or two people unhappy with him and want to have revenge against him," I said calmly.

"While the Duke is away, they have chosen this time to go after you," Koran deduced.

"If anything, they could use my life or death as a deterrent for Sheze," I said as I pulled out a map and began marking it up.

"What are you doing?" Koran asked as she came in with more materials that I asked for.

"I was just thinking about what to do when the second wave comes by," I said with a smile.

"Second wave?" Koran asked.

"They failed on kidnapping me the first time, so they know that we are more prepared the second time," I said with a smile. "They will definitely come for us with a second group this time. Their objective is to keep me dead or alive. It will be exciting for the next few days, Koran."

"Is it normal to be this excited?" Koran asked.

"I would not say that I am excited. Is it the tension that is making my blood boil? Beating your enemy until their spirit is black and blue is how you win the war, so your tension should be high at all times," I said.

"Should I ask for help for some more guards?" Koran asked.

"I would rather not be labeled as an incapable Duchess for not being able to handle a small problem by myself so soon. Also, the Radicals have already slowly invaded the kingdom, so we cannot ask anyone to allocate their troops lest His Majesty needs more protection," I explained.

"I understand...Please tell me if there is anything that I can do," Koran said.

"Let's catch the traitor first," I said.
