I escaped with the Black Witch and protected her from both sides, while I had her take me to the hidden Black Witch Order. I had faith that Sheze would prevail after the amount of help I had given them behind the scenes. A few days later, I really did hear that Sheze had been called as a War Hero. I was truly happy for him from the bottom of my heart that people began to think of him more than that of just a cold hearted killer.

More than anything else I was feeling right now, I was remorseful to what I had done to Sheze to get him to give up on me...

I used the most detestable means to have him give up on me...

In the room I was waiting for Sheze before I left, I decided to act on my plan.

Once the coast was clear, I got up and cut my wrist and splashed my blood everywhere around the tattered I orchestrated by cutting up the curtains and furniture.

After making sure my blood had gotten to the places I wanted it to be, I drank a blood replenishing potion and spread my blood everywhere in the room again and left a note that said I was killed and taken by the Black Witch Order.

The Witch I was traveling with was a woman with had burgundy hair and lime green eyes. She was a thirty year old woman who retained her teenage appearance through potions and called herself by the same Sala. I learned that she fell for the Marquis a few years ago and faithfully began making potions for him without question.

All it took was some story that I was on a mission towards revenge towards my past lover and that was all it took for her to spill her guts to me and become attached to me.

"Why are you looking for the Black Witch Order?" Sala asked me three days into our travel.

"Humans will always betray you in the end. What other reason is there to be with fellow Witches?" I asked.

"What about the one you were married to?" Sala asked.

"My husband is the infamous Witch Killer. For me whom realized her Witch ability later in life, staying by his side any further would be suicidal," I explained.

"...If he truly loved you, he probably wouldn't kill you," Sala said with a sympathetic expression.

Even if Sala was older than me, she was still living in a world filled with her dreams. She most likely lived her whole life behind the walls of the Black Witch Order and then ventured out only to get tricked by some terrible Nobleman.

"That is wishful thinking for those easily blinded by love...It is because I cannot trust him that I am going to kill him before he kills me," I said coldly.

We took a wagon with some wandering folk and then moved on foot towards a town between the border of what was once between Arlanta and Eldera before Arlanta's assimilation.

Sala and I found ourselves standing outside the Misty Forest. The trees towered around 200 feet and year round mist surrounding the entire forest marked this place as the most dangerous forest on the continent.

"...Lead the way to home sweet home," I ordered Sala.

Sala showed me the entrance to a suspended bridge system that could be used to maneuver through the forest. After half an hour we soon descended down to the ground and found ourselves at a gated community.

"Sala has returned home," Sala shouted.

The gates soon opened to welcome the two of us in. We made it inside someplace that resembled a town much like the capital except for the lack of people.
