Going back to my space at Los Angeles, just one hour and six minutes away from our house in California, but it’s worth it to be independent sometimes. So today I got a plan to meet with Maya, my childhood best friend, I’ve known her since mom and her mom been together in a small business at Santa Monica. Maya and I, go together at the same school at third grade till we reached senior high school and become this close for almost nine years and counting. We meet at the Starbucks where we usually do our girl talk hangout,

“Hey!” As I saw her walk in the shop with her bright smiles and, “Did I make you wait?” She asked.

“Its okay, just three minutes.” I said and smile. “Here I ordered you your favorite drink and cake.” I added,

“Wow! Thank you so much!” She said,“So! About the hiring and offer, the boss of the company is actually my dearest friend back at college and he got to contact me to look for qualified and I thought about you so I add you on the list.” Maya added,

“Really? Wow! That’s a great news, thank you, Maya!” I said and we enjoy the moment talking,

“Anyway, I kind of going to ask. How are you?” Maya asked,

“Well! I’m doing great! Just small glitches, I’ll totally be fully recovered.” I simply said with a smile, “How about you?” I added,

“Good to hear the progress.” She said, “Oh! About me, I’m really great right now. Giving time for myself and doing the things I love.” Maya stated. “So! It’s been three years ago, are you not planning to something like falling in love again?” Maya asked while giving me a mocking reaction, I just smirk and look at her,

“For now, I guess… I’m not yet ready, Maya. It’s like the wound and bruises are still fresh. I don’t want to get laid again and end up breaking myself just because what I thought was okay, is not actually okay.” I explained,

“I understand that feeling. You know I’ve been there too, just some kind of minor injuries but like me, I know you’ll find peace and if someone is going to come in your way I know his the last.” Maya said and hold my right hand and smile like she is my mom comforting me. I love her so much.

“Thank you, Maya!” I said feeling relieved that I could talk to someone without being judge and being mocked off.

“By the way, if you just meet all the requirements, contact me so I can recommend you to Roran and can easily draw you to him.” Maya said and handed me a paper with the list of the possible requirements, luckily I have them all.

“Who’s Roran?” I asked curiously,

“Oh! His the friend I mean to you awhile ago.” Maya answered, “His a good friend actually, if you meet him, swear you can be good friends too.” She said.

“I hope so.” I simply answered and smile.
