Ending up staring at Adam’s wedding invitation and the thought of Jana’s words about appearing on the wedding was great for some reasons. It might be beneficial but I don’t think if I can handle the atmosphere if ever I’m going to appear on that day.

I keep on checking my phone and see if I ever had a message from Jana, Maya or whoever it is just to distract me with this thought when suddenly,

“Hey! Arielle?” I look to see Brenda on the door smiling,

“Yup! Do you need anything?” I asked smiling back,

“Actually, someone is trying to talk to you at the lobby.” She said and I got to wonder, who would that be?

“Okay! I’m coming!” I felt so nervous while walking down the stares off to the lobby, like my every steps are floating. Why am I feeling this way?

As soon as I’m almost five steps away I saw a familiar figure of a guy, his way of wearing a plain black long sleeves and paired it with a denim jeans and white shoes. I know exactly who he is, it’s Adam. What is he doing right here?

“Hey!” Adam greeted and smile, nothing has changed his still this hunky guy I meet three years ago.

“Hey!” I awkwardly responded, “What brought you here?” I asked clearing my throat.

“I just want to…” He paused and stutter, “Hmmm… I’m sorry for coming without your noticed. I was trying to contact you but I guess, it would be formal if I come over.” He added,

“Oh! Yea! That’s great!” I said. What am I saying? “So what is your business for me?” I said trying to act normal as soon as I remember what Jana said, “Prove to him that you’ve really moved on.” And a little pinch of smile.

“I came to talk to you about the invitation?” He said slightly biting his lower lip, just like when he is nervous.

“Oh! By the way, thank you for your effort to get me some of those roses. I appreciated it so much.” I said smiling, “And about the invitation, I hope you respect my decision but I don’t think I can…” I was surprised when a voice from behind interrupted,

“We’re coming on your wedding.” I saw Roran from behind with his confident look and hands on pockets. I looked at him and raising my eyebrows for deciding it without my permission.

“Oh! Hmmm… Well! I think I’m expecting you two there.” Adam said slightly giving a smile of relief. I just keep silent and give Adam fake a smile, “That’s all I came here for, and Arielle thank you so much. I can’t wait to see you there.” Adam left after that and I just walked straight upstairs to my office and shut the door for being so pissed off.

When I reached at my room I did not expect Roran was following me through,

“What’s wrong?” He asked, I faced him raising my eyebrows, “That’s a good idea right?” He added,

“What are you thinking?” I slightly scolded at him, “It should be between me and Adam’s conversation!” I added,

“Why?” He asked with his eyebrows meet, “Why are you so mad? What’s wrong of being nice?” He said,
