They’re still at my house and planning to go home tonight since it would be easy to drive for dad and it won’t be hassle for them.
“Hey! Cooking something for your breakfast!” Mom said.
“Wow! I miss this!” I said as I get a taste with my favorite tuna bread.
“Is this how early you go for work?” Dad asked, to check the time at seven thirty, at least I got a chance every morning to check at the mini garden before it’s total locked down.
“Yea! I just love to be early as possible, dad! Just like you always said, “It’s better to be early than being late for everything.” I said trying to imitate dad’s tune and that made us laugh,
“Just make sure to grab some breakfast, sweetie. I don’t want you to starve at work.” Mom said,
I take my breakfast for mom’s satisfaction. After that I immediately head grab my car keys and drove off to the office. If I wasn’t need in the office I’d rather stay with my family to accompany them. Save the last minute for last, I arrived at the office just ten minutes before eight but what I’m so excited to go here early turns out to be that the garden is locked. I feel so disappointed for not making it on time.
“I didn’t make it!” I whisper to myself when,
“What did you miss?” I look behind to see, Roran.
“Oh! Hmmm…” How will I pass this part? “I mean, I did not make it for the…” Oh my gosh! I’m stuck!
“For the garden?” When Roran looked at me like plain and calm which is so different from those previous and usual expression he always gives me, I hesitate to answer and take a deep sigh,
“If I say yes, would you say to me why?” I bet as an exchange for the favor.
“There’s nothing you need to know, Miss Hall. Just like you said from the beginning, were not close. So! I guess, that’s all you need to know.” He said and turn back from me like a kid that failed to impress his mom. I look again at the garden and sigh,
“Wait!” I said mindlessly, “I’m so sorry if I get off guard to my limits. I promise to never do it again, Mr. Sanders.” I calmly said and turned away facing my office and just drop myself on the sofa and close my eyes.
Maybe it should end up here. My all assuming mind and those questions that keep me wonder about the garden. Besides, why would I even be so trying hard about that when in the first place I don’t even need to know everything about him. Keep that space between him and me.
