Chapter Thirteen

Waking up for a new day without doubt, hate and guilt anymore is like a great relieved to me and to my inner self. Thinking, that Roran and I are okay now. Since it’s a lot to deal for our last day at the outing, I grab my v-neck loose long sleeve and still wore my pajamas then walked through the lake and watch as the sun rises from the sky.

“Good morning!” Looking from behind me and saw Stella holding two mugs of coffee, “Want some?” She said and handed to me the other one.

“Thank you, Stella!” I said and smile.

“How are you feeling right now?” Stella asked, while I slowly sip my coffee.

“Hmmm… I’m doing great!” I said, “You know what, Stella, you are right.” I added and smile,

“Now, you understand why his like that.” She said staring at the lake sipping her coffee.

“How did you know that we talked last night?” I said slightly smirking and raising my eyebrows pretending to be arrogant,

“Hello, I know you two. I’m the mother like on this company, remember?” She said and laugh, “But, forget about that, I can assure you that I did not listen. I’m just happy that you helped him to share his story.” Stella said and unexpectedly hugged me,

“Yea!” I hugged her back and when we apart, “I only know half of his secrets.” I said,

“Oh! It’s just the beginning later on he’ll be comfortable and will share it to you.” Stella said and smile,

“Good morning!” A very energetic Lana came towards us and hug me. “I’m so happy for you!” She said so happy. What does she mean? Don’t tell me she also sneak out last night.

“Thank you, and I know you always do!” I said smiling.

In the middle of the day, Stella had this idea to gather around at the bonfire area so we can play a game she was planning to do from the past two days. Everyone is there, Lana and I sit at each other, Stella and Roran on the other side facing us, Clarisse, Brenda and Russel on our left side, and Drake with Clay on our right side.

“It’s just so hard that this outing is almost ending.” Stella said smiling, “You know, I’m always happy to have you here. Like the thought that you were just like sons and daughters to me.” She added and smile, “So, before these day to end, I had this idea I call, We Compliment each other game. Starting from me, till the last person Roran, to compliment each one of you. Did you get that?” Stella said,

“Yes! We get it, Stella!” Russel answered,

“So! I’m starting on my left side.” She smiled and looked at Clarisse, “Clarisse, I saw you as the humbled heart on this team, Brenda, you are so bubbly and incredible.”

“Thank you, Stella!” Brenda interrupted and smile,

“Your always welcome, Brenda! To my Russel, you are so energetic and cool.” She said and laugh,

“I knew that you would said that!” Russel said and doing his trademark energetic action and we all laugh.

“Lana, the so cute and charming. My dear, Arielle, you are such a sweet, kind heart and understanding.” She looked at me and gave me a flying kiss,

“Thank you, Stella! That’s so sweet of you!” I said smiling at her,

“Hey! Drake, the very hardworking person. I’m so proud of you!” Stella said and gave Drake a salute. “Clay, the protective man at the house. And lastly, Roran, you are the most fragile thing I know, ever since and I’m so happy for what you have now.” Stella said and hugged Roran tightly.

I looked at Roran and think what Stella said, he is really a fragile thing that ever existed. The game turned and it’s Brenda’s turn, Brenda being the funniest person I know, she got everything to say. It didn’t took long for her and now it’s Russel’s turn, the energetic compliments has slayed. Till, it’s my turn, after I said everything to Drake and Clay,

“Mr. Sanders, your the boss. You are kind of mean but not what I expected but a deep type of person. To Stella, I love you so much, you are like a good mom and a friend to me.” I paused, “Clarisse, my everything when it comes to food, Brenda, thank you for always walking and look so stunning, and Russel, your the man!”

“Aye!” Russel and I said together and we all laugh.

The whole game is fun and very entertaining, knowing how we actually describe a person not just on their looks but who they actually was. Down to that last person and it’s Roran’s turn to say something,

“This is really a true to honest game, I enjoy it so much, Stella.” He said and look at Stella smiling. “Now my turn, I won’t be saying this because I’m your boss or what. I say it because it’s what I saw on you. Start it with, Stella, you are the living teddy bear to us, you always give comfort and space for everyone of us. Thank you so much!” Stella hugged him and almost cried,

“I thought it was just a game, but you made me cry, Roran!” Stella said and we all feel so happy for the moment.

“I’m sorry, Stella!” He said and smirked, “Hey! Clarisse, is the best planner ever, you know exactly where to put things up especially to the us, as your family and friends.” He paused and so on said something to Brenda and Russel, “Lana, you are the bravest person I know. I remember, when our partners almost backup but you stand for the company, I salute you.” He paused and looked at me, “This is the first time but might be the beginning.” He said, what does he mean about that?

Everyone is waiting for Roran’s compliment but all he did was stare at me and I’m starting to boil with awkwardness. Come on! Roran, I’m feeling so awkward right now. I look at them and just smile like I wasn’t tensed.

“Arielle?” Roran called and, “You are the most different one I know, you proved to me that I shouldn’t keep things to myself instead I need to share it for my good and progress.” Roran said sincerely, he looked at me with a smile that is a great relieved on his face. “Thank you, Arielle!” He added,

“Your always welcome, Roran.” I said and smile, finally I called him by his name after a very long time.
