Alex's POV

Phil looked at Mark, then at me, then back at Mark. Him and Dan could both sense the tension in the room. It made them uneasy and made me want to throw up. I felt lightheaded, but I tried to keep a calm, but wasn't doing a very good job.

"What are you doing here?" Mark asks as if it was inherently obvious.

"Umm, eating and I'm guessing that what your doing here as well."

I hear Phil chuckle in the background which, despite the current situation, happen to alleviate some of the tension in the room.

Mark chuckles, but it's not light like Phil's it deep and heavy and kinda creep to be honest.

"Oh, same old Alex. I mean't like are you here on a date or just a friendly gathering?" he asks as he motions towards Dan and Phil.

"Oh, um I'm just here with my friends. We were actually about to leave. So I guess I will see you around then." I start to walk away and I really hope I never see him again.

"Yeah, definitely." he says. He sounds so sure and it scares me.

I exit the pizza place and hear Dan and Phil running behind me to catch up.

"So who was that?" Phil asks as he finally catches up and slows down to match my pace.

"No one important." I say

"Really? It seems like you two had quite a history. You guys were literally radiating awkward tension." Dan says

"I don't want to talk about it." I say ending the conversation on this topic.

"Well, I'm gonna run back to the hotel and start editing the video." Dan says "I will see you when you get back." he says to Phil "goodnight Alex," he walks over and gives me a hug "have a good night." he says

"You too Dan. goodnight." and we three part ways and Phil walks me all the way back to Patrick's. We keep the conversations pleasant. We don't spend much time talking. We're mostly admiring the scenery. The sun had gone down and the stars had come out or at least what little stars you could see. The moon was bright and full and it was just beautiful. We had finally reached the park and decided to sit down on a bench to take a break from walking. The air was nice and warm and the smell of the rose bushes filled our noses.

"Today was a good day." Phil says

"I agree it was." I close my eyes and take in a deep breath. Everything in this moment is just so calm and peaceful. It's relaxing. Everything in this moment is perfect.

I open my eyes to fine Phil staring at me.

I giggle "why are you staring at me like that?" I ask

"Like what?" He asks and the most innocent look appears on his face it's adorable. He looks down at his hands and smiles.

"I don't know. You just seem so amazing..." he looks over to me "I'm still trying to figure out if you're real or not."

I lay my hand on his "if I wasn't real would you be able to feel this." and I take his hand and squeeze it gently.

He laughs "no, I guess not."

"Then there's your answer. I am most definitely real." I smile to him and he smiles back.

"You're so adorable when you smile." I say. oh oops that wasn't to supposed to leave my mouth. oh no. Things are about to get awkward.

He giggles "really. Well you're beautiful when you smile. You should smile like that more often." he says

Well things didn't get awkward. I'm just blushing now.

I turn my head and say "Thank you" not really knowing what else to say.

Then I feel his hand on my cheek I turn to look at him and he's closer to me now. Those small two inches that were separating us before are now longer there. My mind becomes all fuzzy and I can no longer think clearly. His eyes are looking straight into mine and they're slowly getting closer. I lean toward him and my eyes are slowly closing.

"Phil," I say almost a whisper.

"Yeah" he says just as gently.

I'm quiet for a moment as I try to figure out what I was going to say, but I don't remember, but he doesn't stop leaning in.

"I forgot what I was going to say." my lips just barely brushing over his as I speak.

He smiles "That alright." and slowly and gently his lips meet mine.

It's started out as just a whisper of a kiss then slightly grew into something passionate. His lips were soft and gentle. The kiss is sweet and innocent. Our lips separate, but only for a second. I feel my heart start racing and butterflies fill my stomach. Then our lips separate again and leans his forehead onto mine.

"Whoa." he says.

I smile at him "yeah, woah."

He intertwines our finger together and holds our hands close to his chest. He smiled at me and looked me in the eyes.

"Will you be mine?"

"Yes." I say "I will."

The world could have exploded and we wouldn't have heard a thing. We were in our own little world, in our own little piece of happiness. If only we could stay like this forever.

(A/N Merry Christmas! Here have an update. Sorry I haven't been updating. I've been busy with school and work. So now that I've got some free time I will be updating more.)
