Patrick's POV
"Hey Patrick," Alex said "I'm gonna go over to Phil's hotel room today."
We had just finished cleaning up after breakfast. It was still pretty early in the morning.
"Is there anything you wanted me to pick up while I was out?" She asked
"No, but I'm going out today anyway, so if I remember something then I will just pick it up." I said
"Okay," she says as we walk up the stairs, "you going out with Pete today?"
"Yeah, he said he wanted to show me something, but he never told me exactly where we were going."
We had reached the second floor and she turns with a smirk on her face.
"I wonder what he wants to show you." She raises an eyebrow and my cheeks turn red.
"I-I don't know, I guess I'll just have to wait and see."
I turn to enter my bedroom before she makes my face turn into a tomato. I hear her bedroom door close and she starts singing Sugar, We're Going Down. I shake my head.
I got dressed and as soon as I came out of my bedroom I hear Alex sing super loud.
"WISHING TO BE THE FRICTION IN YOUR JEANS!" Then she opens her door and raises an eyebrow at me.. again. My face turns red again and quickly walk down the stairs before she becomes more than mildly suggestive.
I sit down on the couch and decide to do a Q&A while I wait for Pete.
-Two Hours Later-
I hear the doorbell ring and open it to see Pete smiling at me. My heart fluttered. I walk forward and give him a hug.
We separate from the hug and I let him in.
"So you already to go?" He asks
"Yeah, just give me a sec."
I walk to the bottom of the stairs and see Alex running down them.
"Oh hey," I said "you on your way over to Phil's?"
"Yeah, I'll see you later, Don't stay out to late." then her eyebrow goes up again. She giggles then gives me a kiss on the cheek. "goodbye Patrick." and then hurries over to Pete and kisses his cheek as well. "Goodbye Pete." and then hurries out the door. She seems pretty excited to get over to Phil's. I wonder what they're doing today.
Pete laughs "She seems pretty happy," then he moves into a serious tone "How's she been?"
"So far she's been good. She seems fine. She hasn't shown any signs or hinted the she's been thinking about it. I checked on her last night before I fell asleep and she seems okay."
"That's good. Hopefully she gets better, and things can return to a somewhat normal state."
I sighed "yeah, that would be nice. I realize things will never be the same after this. She'll never be the same, I'll never be the same, but things can get better."
Pete puts his hands on my hips and pulls me close to him.
"Things are going to get better."

Alex's POV
"Oh my god," Dan says with tears in his eyes "that's the funniest thing I've heard all day!"
Me and Phil just finished tell Dan the story of how we met and I guess the mental image of Phil covered with leaves and branches sticking out of his hair was too much.
