Toni laid awake in her bed. She couldn't get what happened today out of her head.

Veronica and Betty called her asking questions but she didn't have an answer because she didn't know how it went her damn herself.

Cheryl was up also, the pink-haired girl on her mind. Cheryl knew that she'd have to marry her but she just couldn't let Toni in. Not yet at least.

Cheryl was never the one to fall in love, she just stayed on the sideline while her brother got picked for King. She was always pushed to the side.

Jason and Sohpia met at young age. And they grew up together. They loved each other like no other. Which led him to marry Sophia Keller. Thomas Keller and Siera Mccoy's daughter. But they sadly passed in a fatal car crash last week, they were on their way home from a royal outing.

Cheryl couldn't believe what her parents were telling her that fatal night. She cried and cried. She couldn't stop. Her brother. Her beloved twin brother gone and part of her went with him.

She thought if she was to be rude and bitchy no one would fall in love with her.

Both girls lay awake, thinking about their dead loved ones.

Toni was thinking about what her life would be like if her dad lived. But then she thought about all the times he told her not to think about it. Just let it be.

Toni missed the sound of her dad's calming voice. She missed him so desperately. She'd give up anything to hug him right now.

Her dad died when she was only 15 years old. 5 years went by so fast.

Cheryl believes everything happens for a reason. If this was her dead brother's way of showing her she can be loved then she's down for it.

"You better be right about this, JJ." Cheryl whispered, turning around to fall asleep.

Toni smiled at the soft wind that blew through her room, "I'm trusting you, dad." she whispers, turning over to fall asleep.

Morning

Toni woke up in the best mood ever. It's been a long time since she felt this good. She did her morning routine. It was a Sunday so she was off work.

Toni went to the children's hospital to visit her favorite patient, Emily.

Emily is 12 years old. She had blonde hair and blue eyes. Even though she was sick she always had a smile on her face. Her personality was like no other. She was also very wise and smart.

Toni and she were best friends. She walked into Emily's room. Emily smiled when she saw Toni.

"Hey, Em." Toni smiled walking over. She gave her a huge hug.

"Hey, Toni. I saw the news, congratulations!" Emily smiled happily.

"Thanks. Em. It's not a big deal." I shrugged, sitting at the edge of the bed.

Emily scoffed, "Not a big deal? Toni, you're getting married to a princess! That's awesome!" Emily said. Toni shrugged.

"I guess it's pretty cool. How have you been? Sorry I didn't visit yesterday. Got caught up." Toni chuckled.

"I've been okay. And it's fine." Emily said. "I just hung out with Jace, Cameron, and Renesme." Emily shrugged.

Those were the other kids Toni helps take care of. She loves those kids as if they were her own. Toni smiled. The door opened and the doctor rolled Renesme into the room.

"Hey!" Renesme smiled when she saw Toni. Renesme was the same age as Emily. Renesme was very sick, she had leukemia. But whenever she'd see Toni all her worries go away.

"Hey, Esme! What did they say?" Toni asked, walking over to the girl's bed. Emily smiled at her best friends.

"It's getting worse." Renesme smiled sadly. Toni pulled her in for her a hug. "Hey, it's gonna get better, trust me God is good. He has a plan." Toni said. Renesme nodded.

"I know." She smiled. "So... Miss Royalty, How's life." Renesme teased.

"It's fine. I've been stressing but I'm here." Toni smiled.

Emily chuckled catching both girl's attention, "What's so funny Em?" Renesme asked, chuckling with her.

"Toni thinks marrying a princess isn't a big deal," Emily said.

Renesme looks at Toni, " wow Toni... I could take your spot." She joke.

Both girls laughed. Toni playfully shook her head. Toni's phone started ringing.

"Hello, mom?" Toni said on the phone.

Hey! You have to get down to the castle, Clifford wants to measure you to see what size you wear for the public outing Tuesday.

"Oh, uh, okay I'll be there." Toni sighed. She hung up the phone.

She looked up at the girls. "I have to go, girls." Toni sighed sadly, "Royal duties, awaits me."

Both preteens gave Toni hugs and Toni left the hospital.

Cheryl was sitting in her room, drawing a sunset. Two soft knocks broke the silence in her room.

"Come in!" Cheryl said, not looking up from her stretch book.

Her father walked in, "Toni's coming over for measurement preparations." He said, sitting next to her.

Cheryl looked up with a shrug, "So?" She asked.

"I'd like you to be on your best behavior today. I didn't like that behavior yesterday." Her dad said.

"I said I was sorry," Cheryl mumbled. He nodded, stroking her shoulder softly.

"It's okay. Now, I'd like you to come downstairs for measuring and color." He said.

Cheryl put her book away, following her dad downstairs.

When they reached downstairs, Toni was talking to one of the guards.

Toni looked hot today, Cheryl said to herself. Toni was wearing black jeans and a sweater. But the jeans fit her perfectly.

"Hello, Toni! Good to see you again." Clifford greeted. Toni smiled. "Good to see you too, you're Highness." she shook his hand.

Cheryl waved, looking down. Cheryl was trying to be on her best behavior. But she was just out of it right now so it's best if she doesn't say anything to Toni.

Her father led them to the room where they will be measured.

After a lot of measuring and cutting.

Toni didn't like dresses. But the dress she had fit her perfectly.

When Toni was free to go, she waved goodbye to the king and Princess, leaving the Royal grounds. But when Toni got out the driveway she was a ambushed by a bunch of paparazzi.

"Toni! Toni! How does it feel to be the chosen one?"

"Will you take the Blossom's last name?"

"How old are you?"

Toni didn't know what to do. She heard the guard yell at them for being on royal grounds. They all scattered, scared because they were trespassing.

"Sorry about that, Ms. Topaz, we will have the king arrange guards for you." the guard said.

Toni waved it off, "No need. I'm fine." Toni smiled. The guard nodded. Toni walked away to go home.
