20| Telling The family

Cheryl was in shock. She didn't know what to say or think.

She must've been in the bathroom way too long because Betty knocked on the door.

"Cheryl. You okay in there?" She asked, "Can I come in?" She added.

Cheryl nodded her head, forgetting she can't see her, "Yes." She managed to choke out.

Betty opened the door, slowly walking in.

"So, what does it say?" She asked, shutting the door behind her gently.

"I'm pregnant." She whispered. Betty smiled, pulling Cheryl into a hug. Cheryl hugged back, sobbing into Betty's shirt.

"It's okay. It's gonna be okay." Betty soothe.

She knows how she felt when she found out she was pregnant with Tyson. She ran to veronica's house.

You see jughead and her slipt up after a 6-year relationship. But before they broke up they slept together.

A week into the breakup, She found out she was pregnant, Veronica helps her out and she found herself falling in love with Veronica. When Tyson turned 1 she and Betty got married, and here they are today happy, in love, with a son. Jughead moved out of town so Betty never really got the chance to tell him, so he doesn't know he has a son.

Okay enough with the bughead and Beronica drama. Back to the story.

Betty pulled away, holding Cheryl's shoulder.

"You're in love with Toni right?" She asked, already knowing the answer.

"Y-yes! Yes, of course." Cheryl cried, wiping tears.

"You want a family with her right?" Betty asked.

"Yes. We've been waiting for this moment." Cheryl sighed.

"Then smile be happy! Your gonna have a family with the love if your life! This is your life now!" Betty smiled.

Cheryl found her words soothing.

"Your right. I love Toni, I'm ready." Cheryl nodded. "It was very silly of me for crying." Cheryl sighed.

"So how are you gonna tell Toni?" The blonde girl asked, looking at the test.

"I'm gonna go to the hospital to confirm it, then show her the ultrasound picture." Cheryl planned out.

"Then you better hurry! Toni will be home soon. We'll stall her until you get back." Betty encourages her.

Cheryl rushed to her room to get dressed.

At the hospital

"I made an appointment for an ultrasound." Cheryl checked in.

"Yes. Right down the hall." The lady said.

Cheryl smiled, letting the guards follow her to the room.

"You guys don't need to come in. I'm fine." She told them. They nodded, standing by the door.

Cheryl entered the room. Her family doctor, Mrs. Katz, smiled politely at her.

"Cheryl! Such a pleasant surprise." She smiled, "please. Sit down so we can get started." She told the nervous redhead.

Cheryl sat down on the bed, "I already know I'm pregnant. I just want to make sure everything is fine." She told the lady.

"It's fine. We'll get you out in a second." Mrs. Katz said.

She put the gel on Cheryl's stomach.

"Okay. Now, How is your wife?" She asked.

"She's fine. She doesn't know yet." Cheryl told the nurse.

"Oh. That's why you're here? So you can surprise her?" Cheryl nodded.

"She's gonna be in for a surprise alright! You're having twins!" She announced.

"What? I-I what!?" Cheryl stammered.

"Yep! See two." Cheryl looked at the screen.

"Omg!" Cheryl exclaim with an excited smile.

Back at home.

Cheryl hid the pictures in her pocket. She saw Toni's car in the driveway, she smiled, knowing her wife was home.

She entered the house to the sound of her laughter. She walked into the living room, after taking off her shoes and coat.

"Hey! Where were you?" Toni asked, walking over to give Cheryl a kiss.

"Um, just went to run a few errands. They didn't have what I wanted." Cheryl lied.

Toni smiled, "oh okay. Betty and Veronica left, Tyson was getting a bit angry with my mom." Toni chuckled.

"Oh. That's crazy." Cheryl smirked.

"But I have something to tell you!" Cheryl added, walking over to the couch. She sat down.

"What is it?" Toni asked, going to sit by her wife.

Cheryl took a deep breath, pulling the picture out.

Toni raised a brow, taking the picture. She looked at it as the realization hit here.

"You're pregnant?!" Toni asked excitedly. Cheryl nodded as Toni smiled, tears stung both of their eyes.

Toni stood up, Cheryl followed her, standing up also.

Toni kissed her passionately. Toni picks her up, hugging her.

"Oh my God! I can't believe this! I'm gonna be a mother!" Toni held Cheryl.

"I know! I was shocked when I found out earlier!" Cheryl cried, wrapping her arms around Toni.

"Did you look at the picture correctly?" Cheryl asked.

Toni gently placed Cheryl down, furrowing her brows. She picked up the picture, looking at it carefully.

She noticed the two beans. Two beans? That means-

"Twins! We're having twins!?" Toni asked.

"Yeah! Twins." Cheryl said, laughing as she cried some more.

"God! This is the best day of my life." Toni said, spinning Cheryl around!

"We have to call everyone! I'm guessing Beronica already knows?"  Toni asked.

"Mhm, we only gotta tell my parents and Your mother." Cheryl smiled. "The doctor said we are safe to tell everyone. She said that I'm 3 weeks along." Cheryl said.

Toni dialed her mom's number, "Hey!" Her mom smiled, they were in facetime.

"Hey! Mom, we have some exciting news!" Toni said.

"What's up?" She asked.

"We're pregnant! Cheryl's gonna have twins!" Toni told her mom.

"Oh! My! That is amazing! Congratulations!" Esme smiled.

They talked for a bit before hanging up.

Cheryl dialed her parent's number, they answered the face time call.

"What's up cher?" Clifford asked, waving to the camera.

"We have something very exciting to tell you guys!" Toni smiled.

"Your pregnant?" Penelope guessed. Cheryl was shocked.

"H-how did you know?" Cheryl asked.

"I didn't, but now I do." Penelope smiled.

"Congratulations!" They both yelled.

They also talked a bit before hanging up.

"I love you." Toni smiled at her wife.

"I love you too." Cheryl pecked her lips.

They laid on the couch, Toni talked to Cheryl's stomach for a bit. Cheryl just giggled, watching her wife talk to her belly.
