Three Days Later

Cinder rarely felt tense. When this Antasma individual showed up, she was on high alert. He and Salem have been talking in her quarters for almost an hour. She didn't doubt the skill of her leader, but rather she didn't trust Antasma.

Ever since he showed up, Mercury had been quiet. It was very unsettling, even to her. What happened to him in that portal? Emerald grew restless with the amount of time Salem and Antasma were speaking, along with Mercury's well-being. She never saw him cry like that before.

"What did he do to him?" Emerald asked, her voice quiet.

Cinder turned to look at her, red eyes full of discomfort.

"I don't know, but I wish to not find out the hard way like he did." Cinder replied.

Whatever it was Antasma did, it really distressed Mercury.

Finally the doors opened, Salem and Antasma stepping out.

Salem had a malicious cold grin that could freeze a volcano. Whatever they discussed put her in a good mood. Antasma also had a grin on his face. What did he promise her?

"Emerald, get Mercury and Hazel. They'll want in on what we planned" Ordered Salem.

Emerald went off to fetch them, scowling at Antasma for a split second, then continued towards the hallways.

"SKREEE!! Vhat's her problem?" Asked Antasma.

"Maybe the fact that you attacked one of my subordinates?!" Cinder said, her irritation growing.

"Cinder, calm yourself!" Salem snapped.

Cinder flinched, shutting her up immediately. Then she took a few breaths, and calmed down.

"Vasn't my fault, he didn't heed my varning." He shrugged. "SKREEEE!! Besides, he got vhat vas coming to him."

Cinder was irritated once more, but said nothing. She didn't want to make Salem angry when she was in a good mood.

Emerald came back with Hazel and a pale Mercury. He looked awful. His hair was unkempt, his eyes looked like he didn't even sleep, and he looked thin.

When he saw Antasma, he backed up quickly away from him. His eyes were filled with fear. Antasma just smiled his fanged grin.

"SKREEEEEE!! Vhat's wrong? Haff you learned your lesson?" Antasma cackled.

Cinder and Emerald shot a death glare at him. Antasma paid no mind to them.

Salem began to speak.

"Antasma and I discussed out a plan and a couple changes to our current plan." Salem said.

All of they're interests were piqued, especially Cinder's. She remembered what the current plan entailed. The downfall of Beacon Academy.

They've already infiltrated Beacon Academy by posing as transfer students. Once in, they would interfere with Beacon's Upcoming Vytal Tournament Festival. They planned to spread fear on a city wide scale to unleash a great, ancient power, along with the Grimm and the White Fangs assistance. Then while they we're distracted with the chaos, Cinder would infiltrate Beacon's vault and take bath what was rightfully hers: The powers of The Fall Maiden. After that, she would then take out the Communications Tower to eliminate contact with the outside world. It was ingenious. But what kind of changes did they make?

"Thanks to the current events of today, we've encountered a few unknown factors. First was the falling continent, that Antasma helped identify as 'Darkland', and it's ruler, Bowser, the creature that fought the Alpha Goliath." She explained.
