Song for the chapter: Carry On by Fun.

____________

Leon woke me up the next morning... Relatively early. He'd shaken me til I was fully awake. Instead of trying to speak with him, I ended up pushing him to the side, and walking to the bathroom. I hopped in the hot water, and scrubbed every inch of my body.

I got out of the shower, and walked into the bedroom. Good thing Leon wasn't there.

I grabbed a baggy AC/DC Shirt, and ripped skinny jeans, along with a pair of combat boots and my leather jacket. I pulled everything on, and went back to the bathroom. I dried my hair, and put on the slightest bit of makeup.

I repacked everything, and slung it all over my shoulders. Taking it downstairs, Leon was sitting on the couch, and reading the rest of the translations.

"Ready?" I asked, snatching the translation from his hand. I tucked it underneath my arm, and grabbed my keys. Whether he was ready or not, I was leaving.

He grumbled something under his breath, and followed me outside. Opening the trrunk, I dropped everything but the translations, and almost closed it. Almost. An outline of something caught my eye. Leon sat in the passenger seat, while I checked it out.

I yanked up the false bottom, and saw an arsenal. Weapons from crow bars, to guns were arranged. On top was a bow and quiver. I smiled, and grabbed it. It'd been a long time, but it didn't mean I couldn't do it.

"Are you coming, or- Wow." Leon was standing next to me.

I set the bow down, and closed the false bottom. I smirked, "Don't fuck with me."

Leon rolled his eyes. I grabbed the keys and translations, and closed the trunk. I had to thank Bobby before we left.

"I'll be back. Don't touch anything." I told Leon, pocketing my keys.

I walked inside, and saw Bobby standing in the kitchen. Running over to him, I hugged him.

"What are you doing?" He asked, standing still.

"Hug me, old man." His arms draped around me, "Thank you for everything, Bobby. I'm off with Leon. Wish me luck." We pulled away.

Bobby shook his head, "Be careful, Kid."

 I nodded, "Bye, Bobby."

I ran back to my wonderful car, and sat in the drivers' seat. I turned up my road trip playlist I made the first time Dean and Sam took me on a road trip. The music blasted, and I pulled out of  Bobby's property quickly. I looked at Leon, and smirked.

A few minutes on the road, Leon turned down the music,"You sure you're okay to drive?"

I rolled my eyes, nodding, "Yes. I'll be fine."

Halfway through Colorado, I looked at Leon. The empty road didn't bother me, so I could talk to him. I turned down the playlist, and started to ask, "Where are we going, exactly?"

Leon looked at me, "Well, Sweetheart... From knowing Jace, He'll probably be around his hometown. That is, if he isn't on a case."

I scoffed, "That's helpful. Where the hell is his hometown?"

Leon looked back at the road. He was silent for a few minutes, but finally spoke, "That would be Oregon."

I glared at him, "You couldn't have told me that before we left?! We're going South, not North West!"

He rolled his eyes, "It's getting dark. We should check into a motel."

I looked back on the road, and continued on. The next town was ten minutes away. Wonderful. Another ten minutes with this dimwit.

The next small town was coming up. I mean it was in the mountains, which helped a little. I pulled into a motel in South Park, and told Leon to get a two bed room. He nodded, and got out. That was easier than I thought.

Instead of going in with him, I got gas. After filling up, I went inside for the crap food they had. I grabbed both of us sandwhiches, and went back to the motel.

Leon was waiting outside, and playing on his phone.

I pulled up, grabbing my stuff, and closed the car. I grabbed my duffel and went to Leon.

Leon saw me, and opened the door. I nodded in thanks, and threw his sandwhich at him. He caught it with skill, and sat on the bed. The bed. A bed. Singular. Not Plural.

"What- why didn't you get two beds?" I asked, dropping what I brought in on the floor.

He smirked, "Because they didn't have any. So, sleep tight, princess."

I glared, "If you don't wake up in the morning, don't haunt me."

 Leon scoffed, "Psychic, remember?"

Instead of going on with the conversation, I sat on the floor. I scarfed down my sandwhich, and leaned against the wall. The silence didn't bother me, but the fact that Leon was staring at me did.

 "Leon?" I asked.

There was no response. I stood up, and grabbed his shoulders. I shook him, but nothing happened. His breathing was slow, and it freaked me out a little. I called his name, but he didn't do anything. I shook him one last time, and he finally snapped out of his trance.

"Are you okay?" I asked, checking his vitals.

He nodded. A sweat appeared at his hairline, "I'm fine... Just a vision."

"About?" I asked, standing in front of him. My eyes keeping contact with his.

His eyes averted from mine, "Nothing... I'm gonna.. Uh.. Go to bed. Good night Elizabeth."

I whispered a good night, and took position on the floor. A blanket and pillow was thrown at me from Leon, and I flipped him off. Taking my time, I curled up on the floor, and soon passed out.

A/N: Short? Yes. I know. Haha. It was kind of a filler chapter, but it works.
