 "Elizabeth!" A voice yelled.

The high pitched screaming stopped, and my body was shaking in fear. Leon pulled me to him, making me stop shaking. Leon sighed, and I closed my eyes.  The tears stopped streaming down my face, and the sweat stopped.

"I'm okay.. I'm okay." I whispered to myself.

I looked at Leon. He had a relieved look on his face. We sat there for a few minutes, before I got up. I held my hand to him, and he grabbed it. I checked the clock after he was standing with me. Seven in the morning.

I silently walked into the bathroom, and stripped. I took a quick shower, and hurried out. I kept my eyes down as I walked to the duffel bag. I grabbed the necessities, a baggy Kansas tee, black skinnies, and my boots.

"You can go shower now," I said, trying to get him out of the room.

"I'm fine where I'm at." I could hear the smirk in his voice.

I turned my head, "Perv. If you don't get out of the room, I'll punch you in the throat."

He listened, and went to the bathroom. I sighed, and got everything on. I brushed my hair out, and french braided my dark hair.

In the next ten minutes, Leon was done with his shower, and getting ready. I went  back in the bathroom with my makeup bag. I applied concealer to cover some dark circles, and applied BB cream. My eyes only had a light brown in the crease, some eyeliner, and mascara. By the time I was done, Leon had his duffel bag, and my own in his hands.

"Did you finish reading the translations?" I asked, grabbing my keys, and leaving the room with Leon behind me.

He nodded, and I opened the trunk. He dumped our stuff, and I grabbed the pad of paper again. I ripped the pages from it, and shoved them in my pocket. Pulling the false bottom up, I grabbed a silver hunting knife, and a pistol. I placed the knife in my boot, and the pistol in the back of my pants.

I closed the trunk, and both of us got into the car. Time for another long drive.

 _____________

Once again, Leon turned down my music. I looked at him, and again at the empty road.

"Does any of this concern you?" He asked.

I looked at the road, and squinted, "Elaborate, please."

Leon's eyes landed on me, "Well, the fact that Jace just left you guys, and never thought about coming back to his family. He doesn't know about Coraline, and he doesn't know about the thing with the demon bitch."

I sighed, "Sure it concerns me, but it doesn't mean I care much. He left. Didn't call. Didn't visit. Didn't even write an, 'I'm sorry for leaving you,' post card. But, I think he'll be surprised when he sees me standing on his door step."

I turned the music back up, but Leon turned it back down. I groaned, thinking our conversation was over.

"What about Hantu-Kopek? How do you kill her?" He asked.

"You read the same thing I did. Load a bullet full of salt, and when she's down, fill it with holy water. But, I suppose it has to be in the heart... Why do you ask?" I looked over at Leon.

His eyes flashed black, and went normal. I stomped on the brakes, and pulled the pistol from behind me.

"What are you doing?" He yelled, holding his hands up in surrender.

"Christo." Leon didn't move. I put the gun away, and got out of my car. Leon did the same, "You drive. She's messing with me. Dear God. Just drive."

Leon nodded, and we switched places. I sighed as Leon started to drive. The road began to crack, and monsters were trying to claw their ways out. I closed my eyes, and ignored the road.

"You okay?" Leon asked after a few minutes.

"Nope," I said, keeping my eyes closed, "I'm hallucinating." I turned the music up, and fell asleep.

"Get your ass up, Elizabeth." I opened my eyes to see Leon with a weird expression on his face.

"What do you want?" I said flatly.

 He rolled his eyes, "Food."

I noticed the car wasn't moving. I looked through the windshield, and saw we were in front of a small cafe. I groaned, getting out of the car. Leon tossed me my keys. I pocketed the keys, and we walked into the diner. The people already sitting there looked up, and silenced.

"I guess they don't like new comers." I whispered.  Leon nodded, and we took a seat. After a few minutes of him staring at me, I spoke up, "You better be having a vision, or your eyes will get gauged out."

He scoffed, and I made eye contact, "I have a question. I was trying to read you."

"Ask away." I stated, setting the menu down.

"Why did you do stupid shit after Jace left?" He asked.

My eyes widened, "How did you-"

Leon rolled his eyes, "When I first met you, when you pushed me agaisnt the wall, and I had contact. Your memories went in my brain, so... "

 I glared at him, "Douche."

 "Bitch."

 "Asshat."

"That's a new one." Leon rolled his eyes, and leaned in his chair.

I rolled my eyes. We got quiet again, and all the sudden, I felt arms wrap around my neck. I started to choke, and Leon was grabbed by another big dude. I struggled a little, but tried something. I kicked my leg over, and switched the position of the guy and myself. I had my legs wrapped around his neck, and my hands holding the top of his head. His eyes flashed black, and I started the exorcism. Only to his ears. He screeched, and the black smoke left his body. I hopped off the body before it collapsed.

I looked at Leon. He had killed the demon. I grabbed my knife, knowing it might not help. They're demons. Oh well. It's worth a try.

The rest of the people in the diner flashed their eyes, and charged after us. Both Leon and I shouted the excorcism, and the demons stopped, holding their ears. It only made Leon and I shout it louder. All of the demons smoked out.

"Where did you learn that?" Leon asked.

"I don't know. But we should go before these people wake up."

Leon nodded. We ran out, and got in my car. The diner we stop at is filled with demons. Just my luck.

 ________

After a few towns, we stopped at another diner. This one didn't have demons in it. Leon and I had a loud conversation that included saying 'Christo' a lot. Safety is always nice in the hunter world, I suppose.

As soon as we sat down, I started talking in a hushed tone, "You couldn't have used your abilities to tell me about the diner?!"

"I can't exactly control the visions. They just come along." He said, grabbing the menu.

I rolled my eyes. Could I have gotten stuck with a doucheier jerk?
