Natsu, Revived!

I was starting to get impatient with waiting when I sensed tremendous magic power reminiscent of Zeref to the west of the guildhall. 'So I was right'. I smirked. I started to turn around. "Natsu..." But when I turned around completely, both he and Happy had already gone. I shook my head in an exasperated manner before teleporting to the place where I had sensed Zeref.

I arrived a fair distance away to see Natsu smashing his way through Alvarez soldiers. With a shrug of my shoulders, I decided to join him. We had defeated a good amount when Zeref teleported in. "I think you should step back for now, little sister," Zeref said to me after he had gotten himself ready. I rolled my eyes.

"He's right (Y/N)," Natsu agreed. "He's mine". I nodded and gave him an encouraging smile before walking back a few paces, Happy soon joining me.

He started taking off the bandage on his right arm. There looked to be a tattoo of some sort emitting a lot of magic energy. Then the fight began.

I was surprised to see Natsu actually overpowering Zeref with this new power of his. It almost seemed as if Zeref's wish would finally be granted. I couldn't help smiling a little to myself. Just before Natsu delivered the final blow, Zeref stopped him. "I have something to share with you, and this may be the last chance I'll ever get. My true name is Zeref Dragneel, I'm your older brother". I held my breath.

I watched as Zeref told Natsu everything. "About 400 years ago, both of our parents were killed by dragons. (Y/N) and I lost our entire family that day, including our brother, Natsu. For years, we tirelessly researched ways to bring you back from the dead. Instead, we created new life, Etherious, also known as demons from the books of Zeref. You are one of those, originally named Etherious Natsu Dragneel, or E.N.D."

Of course, Natsu and Happy didn't believe him, so I stepped forward. "Natsu, it's true, it's all true". He turned around to look at me and I could tell he saw the sincerity in my eyes.

In order to prove that the story was true, Zeref shot the book of E.N.D, causing Natsu to feel that exact pain. I rushed over to him to support him.

Zeref finished telling the story. Even though Natsu believed us, he still didn't look all too convinced. He charged towards Zeref. "Since you're a demon of the book of Zeref, if you kill me, you'll die too," Zeref pointed out.

"If that's what it takes, then so be it!" Natsu yelled in response. Suddenly, Happy swooped in and flew Natsu away in an attempt to save his life.

I watched them leave with a smile on my face. I then sent an attack towards Zeref, which he swiftly blocked. We continued exchanging blows for a while until he overpowered me. I never was strong enough to defeat him. In order to regain my strength, I teleported away, but not before sending him one last blast which seemed to actually hit him.

I decided to check up on the battle on the northern side before heading back to the guildhall. After making myself known to my guild, I continued to help them fight. Suddenly, I got a message from the guildhall.

I looked to Rogue with a worried expression. "What is it?" he asked me.

"It's Natsu," I replied, my voice slightly shaky. "He's hurt".

He nodded. "Go". I shot him a grateful smile before teleporting to the front of the guildhall.

Taking a deep breath, I burst through the doors. "Where is he?" I demanded. Lucy rushed up to me so I turned to her. "I'm going to ask one more time. Where. Is. My. Brother?" I figured since Natsu already knew, there was no need to keep it a secret.

Lucy stared at me with wide eyes until we heard someone call my name. I turned to see Happy fly towards me. "He's this way". He turned around and led me to the infirmary.

I walked in to see Natsu lying on a bed unconscious and Porlyusica, Brandish and a few others standing over him. I walked up to him and started examining him. When I realised what was wrong, I let out a relieved sigh.

Before I could tell them, I needed to know how much they knew. I turned to Porlyusica. "Do you know what's wrong with him?"

She looked me in the eyes as she explained. "It seems he has a tumour that is rapidly growing".

I nodded in understanding. 'So they have some understanding of what's going on, but they don't know everything'.

I pulled Happy away so I could explain what was really going on. "He doesn't have a tumour, not really. He's transitioning. Be careful because when he wakes up, and he will, it might not be him that wakes up, but the demon within him". After I explained everything, we walked back to the group to find out that Brandish had shrunk the 'tumour'. 'A temporary solution, but it'll buy us more time,' I thought as I watched my brother sleeping peacefully.

I didn't leave his side. Eventually, Lucy called my name. "What's going on? You called him your brother but how is that possible?"

With a deep breath, I opened my mouth to speak when I sensed something. Without a word, I grabbed Natsu and teleported away. I waited a few seconds before teleporting back. I placed Natsu back on the bed then walked out to face the man responsible for the strange magic I had sensed. When I walked out, I noticed Lucy, Happy, and Mavis were also there. I looked around to see the entire guildhall empty except for us and the man responsible for making the guild disappear, Jacob Lessio. Jacob obviously teleported everyone to his own space. Something didn't sit right with me. I turned to Lucy and Happy. "How did you two escape Jacob's magic?"

"Horologium," Lucy replied, obviously shocked to see me. I nodded in understanding then turned to face Jacob.

It only took me a moment to realise that Mavis was hurt. I rushed over to her to support her. Before any of us could react, Jacob sent a knife straight for Lucy. Just as it was about to reach her, a certain pyro jumped in front of her and blocked the knife. I had never been more relieved to see him up and about.

"(Y/N), you and I need to talk after this," he said by way of greeting. I just nodded slowly, still stunned. It only took me a moment to regain my composure. With that, I turned back to Jacob as I mentally prepared myself for the conversation I had been dreading for the past couple of hours. Then the fight began.

What happened next was really a blur but the next thing I knew, Jacob had Natsu on the ground and Lucy was half-naked. That's when we found out that Jacob had a weakness to indecency. Natsu and Lucy decided to take advantage of the situation. I probably would've joined in if it wasn't my brother on the ground. That made it easy for Natsu to get free.

As Jacob was about to kill everyone he'd sent away, Lucy reminded him that he'd unknowingly sent Brandish there as well, so he released her and Marin. I hadn't even noticed they'd captured him as well. Lucy had Gemini transform into Marin and remove Jacob's special magic, returning the guild back to us, which I have to admit was a pretty smart move. Then Makarov punched Jacob straight out of the guild, which put a smile on my face. I breathed a sigh of relief. Jacob's defeat meant the people at the guildhall could relax just a little while longer.

A/N: Sorry for not publishing last week. I could come up with a dozen excuses, but the truth is I was busy on Sunday (AEST) and then I got lazy... Sowy.....
