Zeref vs Natsu

I let out a sigh of relief. Natsu looked up at me and smiled. "Hey (Y/N) thanks for stalling".

He spoke to Gray. "(Y/N)'s right. Did you forget what happened? I stopped you on that island too. I'll never let you use that spell". At that moment, Lucy and Happy ran in.

Gray stood up. "I know, but I lost control. I let my emotions run wild, and then, I actually tried to kill you, Natsu".

My eyes widened. 'When was this?' I looked at Lucy but the look she gave me told me she didn't know any more than I did.

Gray continued to speak. "This guild doesn't need someone like me!" I flinched at his words.

Natsu cut him off. "I'm not any different than you!" He had tears in his eyes. The rest of us were frozen, watching their exchange. I kept one eye on Zeref to make sure he didn't try anything. "I gotta know, you and me are friends, right? So you can't die". I gave a soft smile.

Once the two of them had made up, Natsu gave me a knowing look and I nodded to him. "I'll let you take it from here. I'll get out of your way," I said. I moved to walk away when I stopped. "Oh, and Natsu?" He turned back to look at me while I looked back at him with a serious expression. "You better come out of this alive". He just smiled at me and couldn't help but smile back.

While the two of them were fighting, we all froze at the presence of Acnologia flying towards Magnolia. I whipped my head towards the door. "He's already here?" I gasped. I turned my head back to my brothers and narrowed my eyes. 'We're running out of time'.

Knowing that they were out of time, they quickly continued their fight in order to try and finish it before Acnologia found us.

We were still watching the fight when I heard Mavis communicate with Lucy, Gray and Happy telepathically. "Gray, Lucy, Happy. Are you at the guildhall?" I turned to them. "You need to leave this instant. I'm approaching the guildhall myself. I need you all to meet me nearby".

"But Natsu's in trouble," Lucy argued.

"We can't just leave him," Happy pointed out.

"Have faith in Natsu, and in me as well, please," Mavis pleaded. "Hurry! This is for Natsu's sake. His fate is in your hands". I turned back to the two still fighting.

"What do you mean by that?" Gray asked.

"I promise, I'll explain everything in person. There's a chance the enemy is listening in on my telepathy".

I turned back to them. "Go," I said, making sure that Mavis could still hear. "If I can hear, then Zeref probably can too, or one of the other Spriggans. I'll stay here and keep an eye on these two". After some hesitation, they turned around to leave when I called out to them. "One more thing". I grabbed Lucy's hand as I looked at her with pleading eyes. "Please, save my brother". Her eyes widened for a moment before she nodded and turned around again.

I watched as the three of them raced out of the guildhall, leaving the three of us alone. I took a deep sigh then turned around once again to watch the fight.

I was starting to notice Zeref losing control. I could practically see the bloodlust in his eyes, and it almost scared me.

All of a sudden, Natsu froze. He started clutching his head. I turned towards the entrance to see Larcade stumbling in. He was obviously trying to make Natsu fall asleep.
