Nothing happened for a few days until one morning Alastor said to me from across the breakfast table, "How do you feel about taking a trip to the "Ink and Quill" today?" I looked up at him curiously, swallowing my bite of toast before replying.

"Why? Have you heard anything?" I answered.

Alastor gave me a wolfish grin, "Your cousin's investors are ready to back me in this takeover. And since I am the only offer to buy him out, he has no choice but to accept."

"And you need me for that?" I raised my eyebrow in question.

"I want Edgar to go into full meltdown," Alastor said with a casual shrug as he buttered a slice of toast, "I figured the best way to do that was announce the running of the paper was being turned over to you. With Edgar present for the announcement, of course." I couldn't help but return the wolfish smile. Edgar would do precisely what Alastor wanted him to, ruining his reputation along with his main source of income.

"When would you like to leave?" I said, feeling my day was going to be, as Alastor would put it, very entertaining.

"I have the meeting set for ten-thirty this morning, so we have time to get ready," The Radio Demon replied. I glanced at the clock, it was only a quarter til seven. I still had plenty of time to get ready.

"Oh, I almost forgot," Alastor added, "I left a present for you upstairs. Be sure to wear it to the meeting."
