"M-Mr. Rostell," Jungkook gulps.
~~~~~~~
"What are you doing?" My father interrogates with his thick brows knitted together.
I answer before Jungkook can, "Nothing. He was just helping me get a piece of tennis ball fuzz out of my hair."
I'm so lucky all my dad could see when he walked in was Jungkook's back because I was hidden behind him. If he would've seen the side view I'd feel like I was in highschool again getting caught with a boyfriend.
"Well we're going back to our rooms now," my father says, "I just wanted to let you two know in case you wanted to tag along."
"Yeah, we'll catch up." I tell him with a nervous smile and he leaves.
I fall against the wall again, letting out a breath of relief since he's gone now. Jungkook walks away to pick up his racket. I blink a few times, honestly a little taken back because that act is so out of character for him. He never just walks away.
I don't say anything about it and instead pick up my own racket. "Let's go return these to the front desk," I comment and pick up the tennis ball.
He nods and opens the door for me so I can go out first. "What time is it?" I ask and see the dark sky outside the big windows.
He hums an 'I don't know' and shrugs, walking just far enough away from me to notice. Normally he's directly next to me, so it's strange not to feel his hand brushing against my own every so often.
We get up to the front desk and return the rackets and ball, "Thank you," I smile at the lady and she smiles back, taking the items and putting them away.
We walk down the hall and it feels so empty without one of Jungkook's cheeky comments. I press the button on the elevator and we get on.
Silence fills the elevator once the doors shut and I twiddle my thumbs awkwardly. He leans against the railing on the opposite wall of me and looks down at the ground without a word.
The door opens and we step out, walking all the way to our room. I get the keycard out and unlock the door before letting us in.
He takes his shoes off and sits on the end of his bed silently. "Jungkook," I sit next to him and rub his back, "What's your deal? People have walked in on us a lot, why are you suddenly getting weird about this time? I'm sure he doesn't even know what we did." I brush his hair out of his face sweetly.
"I'm just digging myself into a hole," He leans away from my hand and lays on his back, "There's no way he believes you."
"Don't say that," I lay with him and put my arm over his waist, "He couldn't see what was going on."
He takes my arm off of his stomach and I frown slightly in return. He closes his eyes and sighs quietly, "I don't really care if he saw, I care that I'm higher on his shit list."
"You're not." I reassure him.
"You don't know that." He combats, "Let's just go to sleep. I'm tired anyway."
I stay where I'm at and close my eyes but he lets out a heavier sigh, "...In our own beds."
I look at him with pouting eyes and he turns on his side away from me. I sigh and stand up, going to my own bed, but that's when there's a knock at our door. I look to Kook but he doesn't seem to care so I go over to answer it.
