I end up going to my classes the following day with a hangover. My head feels like it's been repeatedly smashed between two metal pans and my body aches from all the screwing around last night- Not to mention my throat is sore as well.
The phone call from yesterday still haunts me. Why did I have to say that? I try my hardest to push the memory away and completely forget it ever happened, but it actively lingers in the back of my mind like a fart on public transport. No one wants it there, but it happens, and it stays.
"Hey Ellie," Jessie's voice calls my attention and I turn to her from the seat next to me. "Look."
She points and I follow her finger to the other side of the large room. I see a few girl students in the corner with none other than Jeon Jungkook in the middle of them.
"Ew." I scoff and look at the girls surrounding him and fluffing their hair, twisting it between their manicured fingers.
"Ew?" A slightly offended Jessie scowls. "He's hot as hell."
"If he's anything to do with hell, he's a demon." I turn my attention away from him and notice Seokjin chatting with the professor.
"Excuse me while I stare at an angel instead." I sass and let my head fall into the palm of my hand.
Jessie rolls her eyes and smiles, "One day you'll see what I see."
"And one day you'll grow three heads." I continue staring at Seokjin across the room and ignore Jessie.
His handsome face and broad shoulders are what catch my attention, his plump lips and squinted eyes when he smiles hooks me, and his laughter never fails to make my heart leap from my chest.
Damn, I wish I could've just called him instead of Jungkook. Wait no- calling Kim Seokjin to ask him to get under the sheets with me isn't something I should want to do. It would end just as awkwardly as my situation already.
"Eliana," I hear someone say from beside me. "You have a book overdue, please return it to the library after your classes are done."
"Will do." I assure the professor's bright assistant with a smile. "Thanks for telling me, I completely forgot."
"You're welcome," she beams and walks away to talk with some of the other students.
Staying cheery throughout the day proves itself difficult. My head pounds and I'm just plain tired through every single one of my classes.
When people talk to me, I retain my smile and sweet composure but as soon as they turn away I want to slam my head into my desk and pass out.
Being a popular student is not as easy as the people in books and movies make it seem. I force myself to keep a nice reputation- that is, unless I'm talking to someone I can't stand to even look at.
There's only one someone, though. And that someone is Jeon Jungkook as you may have guessed.
I glance over to where he's chatting and most likely flirting with the girls by his desk. I can't deny his attractiveness, he is quite the 'perfect man' for a lot of the people here.
