We all return to the beach around eight except for Taehyung because he's "tired."
There are tons of people here unlike before. Someone brought a stereo so now there's also moderately loud music playing, which a lot of people are dancing to while talking with their groups of friends.
The orange glow from the bonfire alongside a few electric tiki torches illuminate the entire beach.
"Why couldn't you just change when we were at the house?" Jungkook leans to me when we're walking up to the bonfire.
"Are we seriously having this conversation again?" I roll my eyes and look down at the sexy red bikini I'm still wearing, "I told you not to worry about it."
"I can't care about my girlfriend?" He stops and I stop after him.
"Caring about me and controlling what I wear because you're afraid some other man will see me are two totally different things."
"But what about-"
"Look at all the other women here wearing things far more revealing than I am," I gesture out to everyone and he takes a cursory glance around, "all of us will be perfectly fine, alright?"
He sighs and rubs the back of his neck, "I'm sorry, I guess I've just never been in this situation before."
"It's okay," I smile a little at how protective he is and peck his cheek, "Now I'm gonna go get a drink, do you want one?"
"Yes please," the corners of his mouth quirk upward and I walk away, knowing he's watching me with a boyish grin.
I go towards the drinks and lean on the huge rock made out to be the makeshift bar. "Need a beer?" The guy behind the rock asks and pulls one out of his cooler.
"Two actually," I tell him and he pulls out an extra.
"Thanks," I flash a genuine smile at him and take the two beers to Jungkook. "Here," I hand it to him when I reach him.
"Thank you, sweetheart," he opens it.
We both take our first sips and watch the bonfire flicker under the moonlight until all the guys show up to steal Jungkook away from me.
"We'll bring him back in an hour or so, don't worry, princess," Jimin ruffles my hair with a smirk.
"Bring him back in one piece please," I smile and they laugh.
"No promises," Hoseok shrugs, "but at least you'll have Jessie here to talk to."
I smile over at my best friend and she winks at me, "we'll go talk at the 'bar'."
"Have fun," Jungkook smiles and points two of his fingers between his eyes and mine to signal that he's watching me.
I giggle at him and we go our separate ways. "Soooo, have you two done anything in the past few days?" She asks me curiously.
"Well, that depends on what you mean by anything," I smirk.
"I mean when we all came back from the beach the first night all of us hooked up with someone- hell, Jimin hooked up with those girls again," she laughs.
"I guess Jungkook and I just... Didn't," I shrug and sip my drink, "but we did have a little something going on. Yesterday I got him all riled up an-"
"And you left him there, didn't you?" She looks at me with intrigued eyes.
"Yep! But, of course, he just had to get his revenge on me today," chills shoot down my spine just thinking about it.
