After I fell asleep on Kent somewhere in between then and now, he also fell asleep. We're both awakened by a camera flash. I open one eye to see Kent? No. That's not Kent it's someone else . . . It must be Kant's older brother.
Kent's older brother is a little taller then Kent. The guys in this family are super tall. Kent's hair is darker than his brother's. Kent's hair reminds me of dark chocolate and his older brother is more milk chocolate. Great now I want chocolate.
Kent opens his eye's all the way; as they adjust to the room his eyes go wide with shock. I instantly sit up, pushing off Kent whom I was practically laying on. He grunts in pain from all my wait on him. I look at his shoulder. At least I didn't drool him. I look around the room to asses the situation I've gotten myself into.
The notebook with the math problems Kent was trying to help me understand is now on the ground by are feet. It fell at an angle where the cover is bent to the side the page Ken't and I were looking at has ripped out is now under Kent's shoe. Kent must have kicked the notebook a little when he fell asleep. I guess that explains the reason he the notebook is all bent up.
"Kent you brought a girl over." The older version of Kent remarks; he doesn't look very happy about it.
I didn't think this was possible, but Kent literally chokes on air, "No, I . . . we didn't do that! I promise! I was tutoring her in math nothing happened! We didn't even Kiss, dude I--."
"Kent," a young sweet voice cut him off, "Didn't you say you were going to a party?" The sweet voice belongs to a beautiful young girl probably in her mid twenties, she has straight brown hair high cheek bones and green eyes. She walks out from behind Ken't older bother.
"I did, but me and Carmen left because we were bored."
Well that sounded it wrong I mean to teenagers in house all alone when there bored? Great job Kent for clearing this one up. I roll my eyes at the ceiling this is the mother of all awkward situations and I have to be in the middle because I fell asleep on Kent well technically I was laying on his shoulder. Lucky for me I have an escape; I can leave thus ending the most embarrassing moment that has ever existed in my life.
,I did feel bad for Kent there was no way he could convince his older brother we didn't do anything as long as I was here. He needed to talk to his bother alone. How do I know this? It's because I have an older brother myself. I've learned the best thing I can do is just leave and Kent to talk with bother without me getting in the way.
"What time is it?" I ask breaking the tension that has field the room.
The girl who is with Kent's older bother checks her iPhone,"It's three A.M."
It can't be three A.M can it be? Shoot! Emily doesn't have a clue where I am. She'll be worried sick about me. I'm the worst best friend ever. I try to remain calm as I stand up and say, "I need to get back so . . . I think I'll go now." I mange a week smile at the girl.
"It's three A.m." She repeats, "Did you drive here I didn't see your car?" Her voice is laced with concern. It's nice to know that at least some one I don't even know cares to ask how got here, even though she came home to fine me laying asleep on . . . On . . Well Kent. This is probably how Goldilocks felt when the three bares came back to find her the the little ones bed. I'm not sure what role this laddie plays in his life, though she seams nice, motherly almost. I hope she and Kent know each other well.
I blush and answer her question, "We walked here, the party was really close. I'll be fine it's only a block away at the most." I say giving them my most confident smile to reassure them.
