Tyler POV
After Joe and I came back to the room with some Mexican food ( I know, we're in Italy, but it's not like it's dinner ) we walked in and saw Troye and Caspar arm in arm, Troye's lips on the side of Caspar's face.
Something stirred inside of me at the sight, though it was clear they meant it in a cutesy, friendly gesture. I had to mentally chant a mantra to myself that they had nothing going on that we didn't know about, and that I shouldn't be jealous in the first place. It's not like I'm dating Troye anyways.
One glance at Joe told me he wasn't too fond of the sight either, but I wasn't sure why for him. It's not like he was jealous in the way that I was, but who knows what goes on in the Jaspar household to be honest. They're probably the very definition of "yes homo".
When I was out with Joe, I asked him if he was dating anyone recently. "Nah, I haven't dated in a while. I just haven't had my eyes on any girls lately, I guess," was all he said. I dismissed it, though it sounded like there were many meanings to the statement.
"Any guys for you?" Joe asked.
I smiled bashfully, looking down, and said,"Well, I have my eye on this one guy, who's one of my best friends, but I don't see that happening any time soon." I think he understood that, so he switched topics to something I don't even remember talking about.
Anyways, after I walked in the room, I asked the boys,"Well, looks like we missed something important."
Troye waved my concerns away, remarking,"Don't worry, you won't find any unidentifiable stains on your bed sheets. We were just catching up since you guys were taking forever getting... Mexican food?" The underlying amusement in his voice was evident, and I smirked, because Lord knows about my ever growing passion for Taco Bell.
"A snack is a snack, no matter where it comes from."
"You sound like a text post gone wrong," Troye deadpans.
Meanwhile, Joe shakes his head at us, and says,"You two are too cute." At the comment, Troye blushed at the ears yet again, and I rolled my eyes, muttering,"Literally, fuck off."
Joe and Caspar passed the food out to everyone, which was just an array of Mexican food that everyone likes because we didn't really know what the others wanted. We could've called them, but we were already at the front of the line when the thought occurred to us. As I munch on a burrito, I ask,"You, what's new?"
And they fill us in, just like we do the same, telling each other gossip that people offline don't know about. Like the date for Jim and Tanya's up and coming wedding. Or more information about TRXYE. Or Caspar breaking up with his girlfriend over three months ago. Since Troye is kind of by himself when it comes to YouTubers, being the only Australian that any of us really know, he ends up doing most of the talking.
Most of the couple hours we spend together is me practically, fawning over Troye's words, drinking in everything he says with that unique accent if his. Even Joe Sugg couldn't replicate it and do it justice. I would know. I watched the bloopers for his prank call video.
Throughout eating, I notice Caspar looking worriedly at Joe every once in a while, as if he was anxious about something. Probably some prank he had planned for his roommate. I just hope I don't accidentally spring whatever trap he has planned.
Eventually, Joe snaps his fingers as if remembering something. "Oh! Were you two there at that party at our place, a couple months ago?" We nodded, because there was only one he could really be talking about. I notice Troye and Caspar both set their jaws, though, apparently trying really hard to keep a straight face. Did something happen that I don't know about?
