CHAPTER 6: Forbidden Love

NARITO kami ngayon sa isa sa mga sinehan ng SM City, Ang title ng pelikula ay "My Forbidden Love," it is a romantic drama film, to be honest I'm not a fan of these kind of movies, mas gusto ko kasi yung mga Sci-fi at action na genre. Nagpumilit lang talaga itong si Ana na ito daw ang panoorin namin dahil ang paborito niyang love team ang bida rito na sina Alisa Verano at Ricky Hills. Tutal para sa kanya naman ang araw na ito kaya sige na nga panonoorin ko na rin.

To my surprise the concept and theme of this movie is a bit old. The setting of the story is during the Spanish era in the Philippines. The story is about a young man who is a Filipino fell in love with a beautiful young girl who happens to be a Spanish. The girl's parents are against their relationship because of their racial and status difference. In the end the girl was sent to Spain and was forced to marry a guy she doesn't love, because of that she loses her sanity and commited suicide, while her Filipino lover after learning what happened to her, he died in grief.

"Napakaganda ng story kaya nga lang napaka-lungkot nung ending, sa huli hindi pa rin sila nagka-tuluyan, bakit ganun?" sabi ni Ana na umiiyak pa rin dahil sa napanood."

"Ganun talaga, may mga bagay tayong gusto na hindi sa lahat ng oras ay nangyayari, sometimes you just need to accept the reality." Sabi ko sa kanya.

Nakaramdam ako ng kirot sa dibdib matapos kong sabihin iyon, it is true, you cannot always be happy and most of the time it's hard to accept the reality, because reality can hurt us so bad.

"Why are you saying that? Ang nega mo naman kuya, I hate you!" Sabay hampas ng kamay niya sa akin.

"Aray ko!"

Damn she's very strong, paano niya ako napalo ng ganoon kalakas although it appears that she's not exerting any effort with that hit at all.

"Ang OA mo ha! Ano ka ba, palabas lang yun, scripted at fixed na yung ending niya kaya hindi na magbabago kahit na paulit-ulit pa nating panoorin. Just ignore what I've said kanina, in real life we can always fight for our love ones, we're not inside a story which has a fixed ending. Nasa totoong buhay tayo that's why we can always write our own happy ending, we can choose our own destiny." Nakangiting sabi ko sa kanya.

After naming manood ng movie ay kumain muna kami sa isang fastfood chain. Ang dami niyang, inorder, how can she eat this much and still stay in a perfect shape? I remember one time, her P.E teacher told me that she's physically gifted and has a great potential should she join any sport, they're probably doing a lot of exercise at the school.

"Magana ka talagang kumain ano? You reminds me of myself when I was a teenager, I used to be an overweight boy who ates a lot, but unlike you, mabilis akong lumobo. You're metabolism is probably faster than normal." I said.

"I don't know but my body is telling me that I need a lot of calories and food. Isn't it weird?" She said.

"I guess not, they say that people with faster metabolism gets hungry often and sometimes over ate but they're not gaining any weight."

"I guess it wasn't a bad thing after all." Sabi niya at bumalik sa paglantak ng fried chicken.

"Where do you want to go next? We still have plenty of time?" I asked her.

"Hmmmp... okay dito tayo."

Hinila niya ako bigla sa kamay at nagmadaling pumunta ng arcade.

Naglaro kami ng "Tekken" pero magaling pala siya dito kaya lagi akong talo, nagsimula na rin siyang mang-asar kaya nainis ako at naglaro nalang ng shooting game, sa shooting ay halos magkapantay lang kami ng skill level. Pagkatapos ay basketball naman ang nilaro namin pero hindi siya masyadong marunong.
