"ANONG sinabi niyo? Ang METAII Corporation ang nasa likod ng lahat ng ito?" pag-uulit ko sa sinabi ni Ms. Roxanne. Maging si Ate Maui ay nagulat rin.

"Tama ang narinig mo Mr. Ramirez, all of these things are METAII Corp's doing. But we're against this since from the very beginning, hindi makatao ang ginawa nilang ito. Sa simula pa lang ay plano na nilang ikalat ang virus sa mundo para burahin ang 97.10% ng kabuuang populasyon ng mga tao at pagkatapos ay aangkinin nila ang lahat ng naiwang lupain at mga natural resources ng planetang ito nang walang sagabal. But I didn't think that they would do it so sooner since the anti-virus is not yet completed." Saad ni Ms. Roxanne.

Halos hindi pa rin kami makapag-salita sa pagkabigla but we need to learn more.

"Teka-teka... muna! Seryoso ba kayo sa sinabi ninyo? Do you mean the world's population was really planned to be wiped out by your corporation?" pag-lilinaw ni Ate Maui.

"It's hard to belive pero iyon ang totoo Miss. Ramirez. This disease that causes people to go insane is called P-virus, isang lubhang mapanganib na mikrubyo na dinevelop sa laboratory ng METAII Corp. May kakayahan itong maapektuhan ang halos lahat ng primate species na madadapuan nito. The scary thing about this virus is it's airborne at kaya nitong kumalat sa pamamagitan ng hangin. Once na dumapo ang virus sa isang biktima ay mag-mumutate ito para maging isang cadaveroid.

Ang cadaveroids ay mga nilalang na self-sustainable sapagkat hindi nila kailangan ng oxygen para huminga, uminom ng tubig o kumain para mabuhay, well if you can call it living that is. Pero ang nakapagtataka ay naakit sila sa laman ng mga buhay kahit hindi na nila kailangan kumain, so they violently attack those who posses living flesh. Once the virus infects their victims they rapidly copy themselves and multiply throughout the victims' body, then the victims themselves will continuously spew the virus into the air furtherly spreading it.

Since the virus is airborne it can easily spread throughout world through the wind currents, it will only take about several days or up to 2 weeks to conquer the globe. Right now as we speak the pandemic might have already spread throught the neighbouring countries of the Philippines, ni hindi nga natin sigurado kung sa Pilipinas nga ba ni-release ang virus na ito since MEATAII is an International Corporation." Pag-sasalaysay ni Ms. Roxanne.

Cadaveroids, seriously? What kind of stupid naming sense they have?

Mahirap paniwalaan lahat ng sinabi ni Ms. Roxanne subalit wala akong ibang maisip na dahilan kung bakit nangyayari ito sa mundo. All I know is we're doomed!

"And what about this anti-virus? Yun ba yung gamot na itinurok ninyo kay Ate? Hindi pa ba yun kumpleto?" Tanong ko.

"Hindi iyon Mr. Ramirez ang tinutukoy kong Anti-virus, ang gamot na itinurok kay Ms. Maureen ay ang vaccine o serum na may kakayahang mag-bigay ng immunity o protection sa taong mabibigyan nito. Everyone here in this facility was already immunized using that vaccine even before this tragedy occured. Unfortunately hindi na nito kayang isalba ang mga biktima na naging cadaveroids na, the vaccine will kill the virus, when the virus is gone the cadaveroid will stop functioning as well and die.

The Anti-virus that I was talking about is not a vaccine but another type of virus that is capable of destroying the P-virus. This virus is harmless to normal organisms so we don't have to worry about it. They multiply the same way as the P-virus by infecting cadaveroids instead of the normal humans; they destroy the P-virus within them, multiply and travel through air since it was also an airborne infection." Muling pag-sasaad ni Ms. Roxanne.

"W-wait! Paano ako? Kailangan ko din ng vaccine or else ay magiging cadaveroid din ako!" I asked panickingly.

"Relax Mr. Ramirez, the fact that you're still okay and haven't shown any symptoms of being infected makes you one of those remaining 2.90% of human population who have natural immunity to the virus. That means that you're one of those few people who are lucky enough to breathe the air without getting infected"
