Chapter 9

~3rd person~

Meilin woke up in a flash and sat up. Abeke, Conor, Rollan, and Monika were sitting on the sofa in the room. Lily was chasing Essix until she caught up to the poor falcon. 

"What happened?" Meilin asked.

"Oh! You're awake! You blacked out when you gave me my bending back." Monika said.

Meilin released Jhi from passive state and Jhi walked to where Essix and Lily were having fun and chased them. Meilin walked to the sofa and fell. Rollan caught her before she hit the ground. He helped her walk to the sofa and then Meilin laid her head on Rollan's shoulder.

"I'm sure all of you know about the dance we do in Arctica?" Monika asked.

 Of course, everyone shook their heads except Monika. Monika sighed.

"Then I'll teach you." She said. 

"Ok." Meilin said.

~1 hour later~

 They met in the ballroom. They didn't have any appropriate clothes for the dance so Monika willingly gave them some. Then she showed them the basic steps. Worthy was there. 

"Ok, this is what you do." Monika said.

 She then grabbed Worthy's hand showed them an example.

"One hand goes here." Monika put Worthy's hand under his elbow and then his arm on her's making an x. Then Monika copied the same thing. "Then move in a circle." Monika said while doing just that. 

"You know you can join you guys." Monika said at Abeke, Conor, Rollan, and Meilin. They did join in eventually. About 2 hours later, Monika was in her gym with the four teens teaching them how to bend the elements. She even brought the servant from the cell house. 

"I brought a friend as you can tell." Monika said. "She claims that she is an amazing teacher and can show any of you if you are interested in learning how to bend fire, lighting, and redirect lighting if any of you want to learn it." She pushed the servant and she fell to the floor with a thud.

"I want to learn how to do that!" Rollan said willingly.

"I think I want to do that. But, I think I want to do earthbend" Abeke said.

"Ok. Conor?" Monika said. 

"Conor?" Abeke said.

"I want to airbend." Conor said smiling.

"Ok. Meilin, you will learn water-bending first with me." Monika said.

~Monika's POV~

 I showed Meilin to a room filled with water, plants, and ice. I released Lily from passive state and told Meilin to release Jhi from passive state. My sister did that. Her panda hobbled over to her and sat down. I decided to teach Meilin the basics before getting into the serious stuff. I walked over to the exit and told Meilin to follow me. We went to the ocean's shore and I pushed and pulled the water on the shore. Then I had Meilin do that. It took her two tries to that. 

"Good. Now to teach you how to freeze water with bending it." I said. 

 I bent the water so it went up I then froze it. Meilin did it one try. 1 hour later, Meilin knew how to bend plants, heal, and blood bend without the full moon. She mastered waterbending in a record of 1 hour. I took her to the training room and saw Abeke training with my friend, Micaella. She was a hard-core earth bender. My other friends Mary and Lauren were training Conor and Rollan. Rollan had burns all over him. Lauren was an air-bender and Mary was a fire-bender so she trained with Rollan. 

"Where's the servant?" I asked.

"Lauren and I saw Kayla beating up Rollan. He tried to protect himself but failed. Lauren and I bent the heck out of her." Mary said. (Kayla is the name of the servant) 

"Ok. I'll take her back. Tell Micaella to train Meilin or send them to bed." I said while dragging Kayla out.

~Meilin's POV~

I went to the woman named Micaella.

"Hello!!! I'm Micaella! Nice to meet you!" She said. I could tell that this is her homeland. She was short.

"Hey, Mimi." Lauren said. 

"Yeah?" Micaella said. Abeke bent a rock chunk at Micaella. She stopped it in midair and bent it back at Abeke.

"I'm gonna send them to bed. Mary already left with Dan." Lauren said. Rollan walked over to me along with Jhi and Lily. 

"Ok. Sorry, Abeke. We'll continue tomorrow." Micaella said. 

"It's fine." Abeke smiled.

"See you tomorrow!!!!" Micaella said while waving.
