18.

Jungkook's POV

I blink my eyes open fast, to make sure that Y/N was still with me. I sigh in relief when I see her laying in my arms, a warm smile spreading across my face. It's the first time I've slept that well in years.

I watch as Y/N stirs in her sleep, her eyes slowly opening. She immediately sits up, looking at the window. A frown spreads across her face when she sees the light, "It's morning," She mumbles, looking towards me.

I nod, "Listen. You don't need to put any pressure on yourself. Bruno and I will deal with the execution shit, you don't even have to think about it."

She shakes her head, eyes dropping to the floor, "I have to deal with this."

I walk up to her, "It's okay. We'll do it together. I'll stay with you."

She laughs, "That's a horrible thing to have to do."

I smile, "Not if it's you I'm with."

She snorts loudly, looking up at me, "That was so horribly cheesy, oh my god."

I smile wider when seeing her happiness-lit face. I hold her hands in mine and rest my forehead onto hers, "We'll get through this together." She doesn't say anything back.

The door clicks open, and in comes Kai, followed by another handful of guards. I take my forehead off of Y/N's, but make sure one of my hands still grips her's tightly. I stare at Kai with a hard expression on my face, one that reads, Don't you dare touch her.

Kai laughs when he sees my hand in hers and then snaps his fingers. The guards walk into the cage, pointing their guns at us. "Don't resist and we won't shoot," One of them warns. Y/N takes her hand out of mine and puts both her hands up in surrender, her eyes never leaving the ground. The guards then put bags on our heads, and tie our hands up.

The bag is pulled off of my face, and my hands are untied. I look around, noticing that we were outside the building. The building was not the apartment that we were originally in, it was a much larger detention centre, and had two big iron gates in the front. Although they didn't have bars, they were solid iron. To close, the two pieces slid in, one from the right and one from the left. Behind us was a large forest, which looked like it was blocking the whole building from being seen by any outside eyes.

I whip my head around to look for Y/N, sighing in relief when I see her next to me. I sigh even louder when I see Bruno next to her. Bruno looks around, and runs up to Y/N when he sees her. She picks him up, hugging him to her chest. He shouts, "God, you guys had me so worried! I thought you definitely wouldn't be able to escape this time because of Y/N's wedding proposal, but you did! I've never been prouder to be a part of this team." When he notices our expressions, his smile and happy demeanour falls, "You didn't escape, did you?" He mumbles, staring at us with those innocent eyes.

"No, they didn't."

I hear Kai's voice and immediately clench my fists, about to attack him, but I stop when the guards around him hold up their guns towards us. Kai makes a cocky expression, directed towards me. "So, Jungkook, are you ready for your execution? Since, you so clearly stated that you would rather get killed than let me marry Y/N."

I nod, "Yeah, I'm ready. Come at me, motherfucker."

Kai's smirk falls as he looks towards Y/N, "So, darling, are you ready to watch your friends die in front of you?"

"No."

My eyes widen as I look towards Y/N, who squeezes Bruno one last time before putting him down and turning towards Kai, "Let them go."

He raises an eyebrow, "I'm afraid I can't do that until I get what I want."

Y/N takes a deep breath before looking into my eyes one last time, and then back towards the devil himself, "Let them go and I'll be your wife."

Kai smirks.

I grab her arm, anger filling up inside me. Bruno stands in front of her, "Y/N, don't you dare. You have us, we'll be able to protect ourselves." I nod in agreement with Bruno's words, pulling her closer towards me, "Y/N, we promised to work through this together." I watch as her eyes fill with tears and she mumbles, "This is the only choice I have." I violently shake my head as a guard comes towards her, grabbing her shoulders to pull her away.

I grab the guard's collar, pulling him towards me, "If you fucking lay a finger on her again, your pathetic little ass will never survive my fury."

Another guard cocks his gun, placing it beside my head, the tip digging into my scalp. I stick my tongue inside my cheek, letting the guard go.

He grabs Y/N, and pulls her towards Kai, and I couldn't do anything because I had a gun pointed at my head. I feel tears of anger fill my eyes as Kai takes her hand in his, pulling her towards the large steel doors.

I feel helpless as I shout, "Y/N!" As I turn to look at Bruno, he was already crying, looking down at the floor and cuddling into my leg.

Y/N and Kai turn around when reaching the door, and she looks straight into my eyes as the gate closes.

A tear rolls down my cheek.

Her tears were never ending, and just before the gate closed, she smiled and shouted,

"I'll miss you."

A/N: I know it's a bit soon for a confession but they literally bonded with each other so much when they had no one. Love can form quicker than you think, ya know?
