54.

You come out of the shower, drying your hair with a towel. You are not at all surprised to see Jungkook on your bed, waiting for you in his pyjamas with a cute smile on his face. You chuckle, setting your towel down and climbing into bed next to him. He immediately cuddles you, burying his head in your chest and wrapping his arms around your waist.

"Tomorrow's the day," He says, words coming out muffled. You nod, "This is one of our last nights in this place."

You smile, playing with Jungkook's hair and murmuring, "Can you believe all that's happened recently? Like, I never thought I would end up going on a journey to save the world from demons with my annoying neighbour."

"How rude." Jungkook says, chuckling. You run your fingers through his hair, before mumbling again, "I never thought I would end up falling in love with my annoying neighbour either."

Jungkook looks up at you, eyes wide and mouth slightly gaped open. You smile shyly, cheeks becoming a light shade of pink. Jungkook gulps, staring at your face. Hearing you say that made millions of butterflies erupt within his stomach, he had never experienced such euphoria before. You couldn't believe you had said it either, nervous now due to the fact that he wasn't replying. 

"I love you." Jungkook says, smiling. You feel a sudden amount of tears come to your eyes after hearing that, and sigh out in relief. Jungkook's smile wavers as a tear falls from your eyes. He lifts his hand up, wiping it and resting his palm on your cheek. You bring your hand up to your cheek, setting it on top of his before mumbling out, "I love you too."

You sniffle, more tears falling from your eyes. You didn't want this to end at all, you didn't want to lose him. If anything happened tomorrow, you wouldn't have been able to forgive yourself. Jungkook was the most precious thing to you right now, and nothing could top the love you had for him. 

Jungkook repeatedly wipes your tears, feeling some of his own start to form in his eyes. He leans up, kissing you passionately. You kiss him back, allowing him to do whatever he wanted as he slowly climbed on top of you.

That night was the happiest night of your life. You gave him everything, gave him all of you. For the first time, you allowed him to take control. No lust, only raw emotion. You and Jungkook did enjoy yourselves, but there were many tears involved along the way. 

And after that night, you knew, you truly knew, that Jeon Jungkook was the person you wanted to spend your life with. He was your true love, your soulmate. You loved him so deeply that you wouldn't be able to live without him. What if he was to get shot tomorrow? What if he was to get injured? Why if he was to die? What were you gonna do then?

I guess all you could do was be patient, and pray that tomorrow would turn out the way you wanted and hoped. You wished, for Jungkook's, Kai's, Bruno's, Mizuki's, Yoongi's and Namjoon's sake that things would go according to plan. 

And as you fall asleep naked in Jungkook's arms, you slowly mutter out, "Tomorrow."
