It always feels good to visit home, but when night time comes, He Di misses Yue. He is so used sharing a bed with her now, that it feels weird, when he is sleeping in his childhood room, without her. It is the summer of their second year, and both Yue and him, are not only home for the school break, but Zi Wei's wedding will be taking place next weekend in Sanya. They have decided on a beach wedding.
Zi Wei and Kido have relocated to Beijing now, while Yue and He Di are officially living together in the same apartment in Shanghai. When the time came for Kido and Zi Wei to move out of their respective apartments, it was suggested by the parents, that He Di move into Zi Wei's room and share the place with Yue. That way, both of them wouldn't have to look for other places to live, or find roommates. It was such a relief for the two, as they spent weeks trying to figure out how to tell their parents, that they wanted to live together for the rest of their varsity years.
He Di finds Yue sitting at the breakfast table, with Xiao Li and Jia, who is over for the summer break, and the wedding. He has been eating breakfast there every morning since they came back from University. He gives Xiao Li a hi five, then kisses the top of Yue's head, before sitting down next to her. Jia rolls her eyes and says,
"He Di!" "Jia."
The greeting is the same everyday, some things never change. Xiao Li gets up from the table saying his goodbyes, he is going over to his friend's house to play video games with him.
When he is gone, He Di pulls Yue out of her chair, and onto his lap, hugging her from the back, tightly. He feels free to do so, because Yue's mom is currently with his mom, running last minute wedding errands, and their fathers are at work. He places sweet kisses along Yue's spine and says,
"So how come Jia gets to sleep over in your room, while I'm relegated to sleeping alone? Doesn't feel like much of a vacation to me." He sulks.
"Oh boy, do you ever give it a rest Wang He Di? Always with your moaning, every single day, about the same thing." laughs Jia.
He Di turning to face Jia,and resting the side of his head on Yue's back, retorts,
"Excuse me, but it's not my fault you've never been lucky enough to experience real love before, therefore can't possibly understand what I'm going through!"
"He Di apologize to Jia."
"What? Why ? She started it!"
"Don't make her feel like there's something wrong with her, just because she hasn't experienced real love yet. Her love is coming." Yue replies, in a calm and soothing tone.
He Di tightly scrunches his eyes close for a second, takes a deep breath, opens them, and sincerely says,
"I'm sorry for my mean comment Jia. I didn't mean it."
Jia looks at him pointedly for a second, then her face softens and says, "Huh, she really does make you a better man doesn't she? Apology accepted He Di."
"Great." Says Yue. "Now that, that is sorted out, what shall we do today?"
It is two days before the wedding, and they have just arrived at the resort. They have chosen to stay in the villas with the spectacular sea views, instead of the main hotel building. Yue is sharing with Jia, while He Di is sharing with his cousin Kuan Hong, who Jia thinks is really cute. She would like He Di to help faciliate a date for her with him.
At first He Di laughs, but one fierce side glance from Yue, simultaneously reprimands and turns him on.
"Alright fine Jia, after the rehearsal dinner, we will all go for a walk on the beach, then Yue and I will leave you guys alone. From there its up to you."
"That's all I require from you He Di, thank you." She squeals, excited at the prospect of a holiday romance.
He Di makes a speech at the rehearsal dinner.
"To my Jie, Zi Wei. I am so grateful to have grown up with you, even though it didn't seem like it at the time. I never knew that your influence was quietly shaping my mind, you taught me about equality between men and women. Your love for the whimsical made me wish for magic, early on in my life. I looked to you for what was cool, I looked to you to find out what girls liked. You also have this great ability to call me out on my nonsense, when I've gone too far. You protect me from those who seek to do me harm, and you love and accept me, for who I am. You are an amazing woman Jie, and Kido is one lucky, lucky guy. Kido I'm entrusting you with my sister. You always take care of her buddy, and I will fight you if you don't!"
The guests laugh at this and then He Di continues.
"I have a few special words for you too. Thank you man, thank you for taking me under your wing. Thank you for helping me navigate what it is, to be a young man in this day and age. Thank you for your advice when I have girl troubles, and thank you for just being the older brother that I never had. I'm so happy you are in our lives, and I'm happy that you two found each other. I wish you two great success and good fortune. Ganbei!"
Every one gets up and toasts. "GANBEI!"
He Di looks at Yue, who is staring at him, tears in her eyes. He smiles at her and mouths "I love you." She smiles back at him and mouths, "I love you too."
The four of them are on the beach, watching the sea. Jia is doing her best to get to know Kuan, who is a rather quiet fellow. They don't seem to be connecting, thinks Yue, but Jia has never been a quitter.
"Alright, I want some alone time with Yue, so excuse us, we will see you back at the villas."
He Di stands, holds his hand out and pulls Yue up. They say their goodbyes and make their way down the beach, far from the people and far from the hotel. They walk until they come across a deserted cove, where the only light is the moon, and the only sound is the waves.
They sit down in the sand.
"Come closer Baby." says He Di.
Yue snuggles into him, holding onto him tightly. With his finger, he touches her chin and tilts her head up, kissing her softly. Yue, awakened by the setting, gets onto her knees, then shifts onto his laps, straddling and facing him. She kisses him fervently, pressing her chest against his, and running her fingers through his hair. Her urgency is making him delirious. The way she is touching him, is inflaming him, and she can feel him protruding underneath her.
He Di runs his hands up her thighs, lifting her dress slightly. She hovers hers over his crotch, and starts to unbutton his pants. Then she stands up suddenly, and removes her panties, prompting He Di to lowers his pants. She sits back on top of him, and helps guide him into her. They start to move, fast paced from the onset. He Di looks up at Yue, as the sea breeze blows her hair about. She looks glorious in the moonlight, the sound of the waves crashing in the background. He let's out a groan, as she winds her waist expertly, on top of him, doing her best to maximize his pleasure. She is focused tonight.
"Yue...Ahh... Yue, your so beautiful. I...Ahh. I love you..Ahh...Yue!"
She increases her pace, squeezing her thighs close, circling him hard, up and down, up and down.
He Di pulls her closer to him, his head in her chest, hands on her back, shivering, until the vibrations in his body calm down. When he can finally speak, he says,
"Wow Yue, that was...that was sublime!"
She kisses him gently , then gets off him and puts her panties back on. He fixes himself and she leans her back against his, and he tightens his arms around her. She speaks,
"Something about the sea air."
They sit there silently for a while, watching and listening to the ocean.
