Did I hate that I left New Directions? Yes. Did I hate myself for fighting with Rachel? Yes. Are answering my own questions incredibly annoying? Absolutely. I'm still doing it! Dammit!

It was fun being in an all-girl club, but I missed the boys. You know, Puck thinking he's smart, Artie's smooth talking, Finn banging on the drums, and Sam since he came back from...wherever he moved to.

I guess to say I hated this round of sectionals was an understatement. Why? Not only did Troubletones loose, but I saw a face I wasn't hoping to see at all. Yep, Dalton Dweeb. Why he came to see I know not why, wait...yes I do. He's trying to get into Blaine's pants...creep.

After that fateful contest, I still sat on the stage in my sparkly silver dress, heels kicked off as blisters would start to form by morning. I was debating on whether to go home, or go find Rachel and we'd get icecream. That's usually how we'd make up after a fight...with icecream.

"So that's what you meant by 'they'. They meant them, as in you're not in New Directions anymore." how come when I try to have a little peace and quiet, some moron comes and ruins it. Emphasis on moron.

"Listen Hairgel, I'm tired, I'm annoyed, and I'll throw my shoe at your head if you provoke me." I told him.

"Relax, I just wanted to bring you this."

"Another crumpled twenty?" I asked with mock excitement. He grinned and shook his head.

"Not quite." he reached into the inside of his jacket and pulled out a plastic flower. "I figured this would last longer if it were fake." he said.

"And you got me a rose because...?" I asked.

"Just something to say good job." he replied.

"Really? Isn't that supposed to be for Anderson?" I asked him.

"Now if I were going to congradulate Blaine, I'd do it in a much better way." he replied. I knew exactly what he meant, creep.

"You disgust me. Get your head out of cosmopolitan." I told him.

"Well look, the flower is here, if you want it, it's yours." he said, bending down and putting the rose on the floor. I just stared at him contently as he gave a final nod and walked out.

The rose stood out from everything, glowing red and shining in the light. I stood up and walked over, picking it up and looking it over. It was definetely made of plastc, but that's not what bugged me:

"Why give your enemy a flower, Smythe?"
