Chapter 34: [Reinforcements Arrival]

[Inside The City]

As fierce battle happening outside another fierce battle was also happening inside the city and what's more this is further worsened by the appearance of chaos beast wyverns

As the battle goes on more and more casualties are happening around, in this time the whole city is in total chaos and it's defenders the chaos breakers are having a hard time just by defending it

Because of this situation Oliver also couldn't comprehend just how did the enemy garner such forces

As a group of people are running down the empty street followed by multiple chaos beings, they countered by firing back while some volunteered themselves to hold them back but in the end they were killed

In the group there is a woman and a girl child also Alice, six users, five soldiers.... This is what's left of the past group after fighting for a certain period of time

All of the fighters are quite fatigue from the non-stop fighting

When some chaos beast ran up to them a wyvern suddenly dived below to catch the group of fleeing people

"Incoming!!!!" Shouted one of the user

"Cover fire!!" Yelled the soldiers

Immediately the five soldiers released their bullets and fired at the wyvern that were clearly in for the kill

Tatatatatatata.......

"AHHHHHHH!!!!" Screamed one of the soldiers as it's emptied out his bullets

Swiftly the wyvern plunged down at the soldier and pierced his stomach with it's claws

"No!" Reacted one of the soldiers

"Flash bang! cover your eyes!" Someone yelled

Immediately everyone covered their eyes as bright light blinds the surroundings

When the light fades they started to escape by running away but they suddenly heard a cry as if dying

"Guhah!"

When they turned around they saw a user was killed by the claws of the wyvern

"Impossible! It didn't affect him?"

"For this mean it also covered his eyes?"

"No way at these creatures intelligent?"

As questions popped up in their heads everyone felt a looming danger inside of them

One particular was also Alice, she's completely defenseless now as her pistol already ran out of bullets to spare a long time ago

As they thought of this a shadow of a person suddenly shot down from the sky but before it shot down it slashed it's thickly Mana engulfed sword at the wyvern causing  an explosion to occur

The wyvern screamed in pain but the it's voice suddenly disappeared as the person stabs it's sword in it's head shutting the wyvern up

As the smoke rises Alice immediately recognized this person whom she haven't seen for a couple of days now

"Kanzaki?!" She muttered

"Hey Alice! Long time no see! How long has it been?" Replied Kanzaki

"Idiot it's been more than a week" sup Alice as she lighten up

"Is that so? Well I'm sorry!" Apologized Kanzaki
