Chapter 40: [Another Typical Day]

[Chaos Breakers Sub-Headquarters, Grandora City]

The next day after Ryuuji's departure to Hawaii, the Group returned to their daily lives of working or Going to the academy to training their skills and abilities in the Sub-Headquarters in case of another such incidents happening

All of them including the other users are training non-stop in order to become stronger, the previous assault really took a toll in them as numerous comrades and allies died during the incident

In addition to that they added security and operations to the other facilities to further prepare for a similar situation in the future

In the beginning everyone is aware that such deaths and loss is inevitable in this line of work and in order to protect what's right for them, they had no choice but to grow stronger

Similarly the Sub-Headquarters is having another entrance examination for the new chaos eye user in the next two months and since Alice is participating on it, she had no choice but to train in order to get in the organization

As of now Kanzaki is having a sparring fight with Jinwoo using their own weapons, of course there is a limit and that is neither of them can use their abilities meaning they have to fight only by pure fighting skills

As Jinwoo fought Kanzaki the former wielded his own weapon as if it were a toy by moving around while efficiently attacking the latter in every form

As Jinwoo spins his iron pole in his back he quickly made a huge swing followed by doing a double kick then slamming the iron pole again unto the Kanzaki

Kanzaki however quickly dodge the first attack then jumped backwards to avoid Jinwoo's kick, after that he took a huge leapt when the latter slammed the pole unto the ground

As Kanzaki leapt up high he landed behind Jinwoo and did a back swing, of course the latter saw this so he quickly used the iron pole to lift himself off the ground and slamming it to Kanzaki

Because of that Kanzaki was left stumbling unto the ground but he quickly steadied his balance before charging straight again at Jinwoo

With a flip of the sword Kanzaki made a slid forward as he swings to the left with his phantasmal sword Fafnir

After that he did the following attack in consecutive chain of movement

After the left swing he followed it with a right swing, another left swing, another right swing and then he spins around and made an overhead slash

At that Jinwoo blocked it with his pole and jumped back in recoil

As he bent down he made a quick dash at Kanzaki and thrusted the pole straight to the latter's guts

"Gufuh!!!" Reacted Kanzaki

With that Kanzaki was thrown across the from again clutching his stomach in pain

"Hahahaha!!! Sorry about that! I was caught in the moment!" Apologized Jinwoo

In return to that Kanzaki glared at Jinwoo before replying to his apology

"Caught off guard? Caught off guard my ass!!! 
You literally aimed straight at my guts" howled Kanzaki in pain

"Hahahaha! My apologies" said Jinwoo

[Outside the training room, support room]

At the same time Isabelle together with Ai and Jessica are inside the Support room in front of so many statistical records surveiling the status of both Kanzaki and Jinwoo

"Well that's the tenth time" stated Isabelle as she reads Kanzaki's current status

"Wow! In this sparring Kanzaki haven't even dealt at least one hit to Jinwoo! And her I thought he have grown stronger" stated Ai
