Chapter 126: [Stand]

[Ryuuji's mansion, London,United Kingdom]

With Greg completely done in on the side, both Victor and Mark then ignored the said person as they entered the mansion and proceeded to climb up the detailed front stairs which led to the second floor

After all the reason why both of them headed straight for the second was because both of them sensed some presence on that particular floor instead of the barren first floor

With that reason at hand, they then naturally cut to the chase as they didn't spend any more time on the first floor as they strode over at the hallway leading to the room on the second floor of the mansion

Soon after walking along the hallway, they then came before a certain door of a certain room as they slowly turned the door knob open and suddenly sensed a presence inside looking their way

Fully opening the door, they then saw Ryuuji sitting on the chair facing their way as he had Claire sit by the armrest of his chair

Upon seeing them, both Mark and Victor was then assured to the fact that their target was the young girl sitting on the armchair of Ryuuji's chair

Coupled with the fact the girl has the ability to wield both life and death at her own will, they then naturally took a certain distance away from them as they calmly assessed the situation, but before they could fully observe the whole room, Ryuuji himself then took the initiative as he spoke towards them

"I believe that you are the terrorist group that are currently causing trouble across the globe and especially to other multiple surviving countries?"

Hearing his question both Mark and Victor simply stayed silent, causing Ryuuji to speak out once more

"I see... you wish to remain silent and your target would be probably this girl right? Unfortunately she is under my care and I have no intention whatsoever to hand her over to you willingly"

In that stance Mark then snickered a little as he replied

"Sorry! But that's out of the question"

In that instant Mark sent out a high frequency shockwave about 50 Hz towards Ryuuji's location upon realizing that this wouldn't end in a peaceful way, but before his attack could hit it's target, Ryuuji simply summoned up his weapon out of thin air and directly blocked the frequency attack with its dexterity

Upon seeing the weapon directly taking on a full brunt of a frequency attack without even showing a slightest hint of breaking, Mark himself was suddenly shocked by the outcome of that surprise attack as he immediately jumped back and became wary of his opponent, on the other hand Victor only showed an interested look upon witnessing the toughness of the weapon that popped up between them

As both of his guest became wary of his weapon, Ryuuji simply stood up from his chair as he hid Claire behind it and took ahold of his huge sword Ifrit, which is about the same size as him

Following that he glared back at his two guest and said

"Seeing that both of you are here, then I must presume that you have taken care of Greg down there... now tell me... is he alive or is he dead?"

Upon hearing that concerned tone from him, Mark couldn't help but laugh at him at that moment as he tried to provoke the person in front of him

"Bwahahaha! Are you that concerned! Dont worry! You'll be sewing him in he-"

But before Mark could fully finish his words, Ryuuji then instantly charged towards him at an incredible speed which surprised even Victor and smacked Ifrit towards the former, causing him to slam and crash towards the wall of the hallway

Upon seeing his reaction, Victor then stayed calm once more as he then said his reply

"Don't worry! That guy is still alive for now"

Hearing those words, Ryuuji simply lifted ifrit unto his shoulder as he said

"I see... well then since being hostile against each other is out of the question and added to the fact that you guys intruded my home, I suggest that both of you to f*ck off!"

As Ryuuji said those words, he then pull out his sword Ifrit once more as he came in with a huge swing of his sword towards Victor, unfortunately Victor himself kept his cool all this time and managed to react immediately in that situation and erected out a graviton barrier all around his body

Following that he then increases the gravity around Ryuuji's location, causing the person himself to feel heavy burden on his back and quickly turned his way towards his own target

After that he then took such chance wherein the weight of the gravity was restraining Ryuuji to quickly pull in Claire out of her hiding spot using magnetized gravity, but before he could fully pull her in using his ability, Ryuuji himself disrupted his ability's momentum as he increases the temperature around the area using his fire ability coming from his sword

The reason for this phenomenon is because of the relationship of heat towards gravity

What interacts gravitationally is the energy density of an object. As such, a hotter object (more precisely, one with a higher internal kinetic energy) does indeed have a stronger gravitational attraction than a colder one. This is neatly encapsulated in Einstein's famous energy-mass-equivalence E = m c2

Due to that Ryuuji successfully intercepted the attack as he swung his word towards Victor, causing the latter to get smashed on the wall of the room within

But before Ryuuji could follow up his attack into a chain, Mark then came in from behind as he blasted him in with a frequency wave, causing the former to crash unto the bed inside and completely destroying it

In that moment, Mark then called out towards Victor as he said

"Quick!!! Get the girl! I'll take his attention!"

Agreeing with his words, Victor then finally pulled in Claire from her hiding spot using magnetized gravity, without any interruption due to Ryuuji being suppressed by frequency wave that was released by Mark

Without a second though, Victor then slightly hover Claire up into the air, causing the girl to panic a little as he quickly ran out of the room together with their group's target, but as he ran away from the room, he then heard numerous explosion coming from inside the room, seemingly the sound of battle happening inside

While Victor ran away, Claire on the other hand called out Ryuuji's name in distress, seemingly worried about his situation, after all both Ryuuji and Greg had been good to her throughout the time of her stay in the mansion, they also occasionally played with her and spends their time with her, causing her to be happy at her current situation

Due to that she expresses much care towards their wellbeing as she cries out Ryuuji's name to save her from the strangers that were taking her away

"Ryuuji!!! Ryuuji!!! Ryuuji!!! Let me go!!! Please let me go!!!"

But despite her cries, Victor simply ignored her words as he hurriedly ran out of the mansion

Of course since they were running out of the mansion, Claire naturally saw Greg lying on the floor completely unconscious, due to that grim expression finally fell unto her face as she was shocked by the situation around her

However just as Victor was about to get out of the front door of the mansion, a specific place on the second floor suddenly exploded out as Mark got blown away to the front yard as he got bombarded by numerous flames attacks coming from Ryuuji's strike

Afterwards Ryuuji then jumped off the second floor as he blocked Victor's way

"Your not getting away that easily!!!"
