Chapter 77: [Critical Situation]

[China, Mountainous path to Mongolia]

Facing nine types of people emitting strange vibe, even Jinwoo felt chills all over his body as he faced with them

Apparently such chills were the same feeling when dealing with people that are the same as him, an eye user

In a flash two out of 9 people vanished without a trace right infront of him as he suddenly felt a hair raising chill coming from his back

The moment he felt such a feeling Jinwoo immediately reached out for the retracted small pole on his back and immediately returned it to normal

"Return!"

As if following this command the pole returned to it's normal state as it successfully blocked one sneak attack coming from one person

But when he did that another guy sneak past through his blindspot and aimed for his thighs, cutting it with a dagger

"Argh!"

Reacting to that, Jinwoo's thighs started to bleed cause of it, due to that he gritted his teeth and endured the pain

Pushing his body to move, Jinwoo swung his pole to push back the person who attacked him from behind to immediately counter the person who attacked him from below

Arching his back Jinwoo then smashed his pole to the ground while activating his eye, this changing his eye color to glowing brown and emitting tremendous aura

With a slam of his pole the ground immediately shook as the rocks and debris got blown away by the force of the attack, the whole the pavement around him erupted thus creating a solid 360 rock wall

"Huh? This guy... Is he an eye user?" Asked one of the guys observing Jinwoo

"Another one of those guys? But he doesn't look like a Chinese" exclaimed the other

"Nope but the way he looks, his fashion, and the way he moves in respect is the same as those Koreans" said the guy sitting by the rock

"Koreans? What are they doing in China?" Asked the other

"I don't know... But the way he asked us about someone missing... It looks like that guy did something again under our nose, rather yet maybe he is hiding something from us" replied the other

"Really? Then what should we do?"

As this question got ask all other 6 people that didn't join the attack looked at the person far behind them that haven't joined the attack too, seemingly the guy with a sycthe for a weapon and was wearing a hooded jacket seemed to be their leader

"Kill him, he saw us... It will only be natural that he'll report our existence, no matter how much we compromise humans are always a blabbermouths... We can just extract information from it's brain... You can do it right?" Asked the guy carrying a sycthe to the other person that looked at him

"Yes! I can, as long as that person do have a brain though"

With that a verdict has been dropped on Jinwoo's head

"Oi! We've decided! Just kill that guy... He knows about us anyway, we need to cut any loose ends"

Hearing that the other two that attacked Jinwoo smiled greedily as they stared back at the person covering himself with earthen walls

"Well we've been thinking about doing that, so it's not a surprise"

Learning that he will be killed by this unknown group of people, Jinwoo immediately tried to contact the others to warm them about this group as he tried to buy as much time as possible
