Chapter 147: [Operation Spearhead IX (Road II)]

Upon hearing them asking such a question relating to the topic regarding the terrorist group, Kanzaki then had no choice but to answer as he opens his mouth and think through his own response.

"If i have to give my honest opinion... then all i can say is that the terrorist group is simply overwhelming, of course that is simply in my view of my first encounter of them and my status as being a rookie"

"Ah yes! Indeed! it hasn't been a year yet since we had joined the organization" muttered Richard

"Hasn't been a year yet... but based on how thick the documents regarding your exploits in the organization, i believe that you often find yourself getting caught up in various troubles" assumed Commanding officer Zhang

"I cant deny that... after all the issue of the chimera let loose in the city, the issue of the attack in London, the huge monster wave, the incident in Busan south Korea, the search in China, and the battle in the Philippines... apparently this will be my seventh exploit" said Kanzaki

"... Seventh... in less than a year... normally an agent of the organization would take up about 3 to 4 exploits in a year... but yours... you are truly getting caught up in some weird happenings aren't you?" asked Commanding Officer Zhang

"...Yeah" replied Kanzaki as he showed exhaustion in his face

"Anyway all i can say is that the terrorist group are insanely strong, in fact i almost got killed during my battle against one of its members back in the Philippines, luckily Ryuuji was there to back me up" added Kanzaki

"Ryuuji eh? Ryuuji Usato..." muttered Commanding officer Zhang

Hearing their group's leader mutter, Richard then asked  away.

"You know him?"

"Well yes.... that agent is quite famous for being a field worker, meaning his exploits always stems out outside of his comfort zone, in fact he is one of the people who had the highest successful rate of missions in the organization, thus it is given that he is strong... unfortunately winning isn't always an absolute... Just last month he participated in the operation in London as one of the last line of defense, he did fought well... unfortunately the terrorist group were just too strong, thus he lost against them... currently i heard he is still hospitalized" answered Commanding officer Zhang

Hearing his words, the others then went into silence until Richard once again spoke out.

"So someone that strong is still defeated... looks like this is a bid deal after all"

In response to his words, everyone simply nodded in agreement as they all wore  random complicated faces, after all this operation do have a huge percentage of death rate. Nevertheless since they accepted the assignment from the very start, then they had nor ight to complain about it, plus its too late to back o9ut now, meaning all they can do is do their best to survive.

After talking about that certain topic, Yuti then finally finished up cooking their dinner as everyone ate the fill while engaging in a conversation regarding the terrorist group. to be specific, the whole group literally took turns asking Kanzaki about information regarding the Undead they had fought in the Philippines.

After all based on their investigation, the Undead himself who liked to move solo is somewhat a part of the member of the terrorist group, even thought their information is outdated, this is what everyone believed anyway.

When talking about such topic, they naturally ended up assessing the capabilities of the terrorist group through the interpretation of the Undead. From there they then concluded that perhaps the terrorist group itself were as strong as the undead during his pre-transformation, based on that alone due to the group's wariness, they might have a hard time tracking them down.

After eating their fill, everyone then called it a day as everyone slept while taking turns to watch for the night. Just like that the day ended in a breeze till morning come.

The next day, quite early from their usual morning trope, the whole group then finally arrived at the town of Amursk. Apparently due to some unexpected certainties, the whole group has no choice but to proceed their travel during midnight. Of course the reason for it may be vague, nevertheless Commanding officer Zhang immediately took action when he realize something wasn't right.

Due to their leader's impulse they somehow arrived before the town at the dusk of dawn. Unfortunately they were stopped on their tracks as they saw a tall wall of metallic barricade blocking the road. alongside this man made crude wall, some people of Amursk were naturally can be seen on top of it as they somehow tried to talk towards Commanding officer Zhang.

Maybe because of the outfit which presents authority, the people of the town much preferred to talk to the commanding officer rather than the agents of the organization. While the talk was still going on, Kanzaki and the rest are literally surrounded by civilians carrying firearm's as they pointed their muzzles at them.

Even thought they know that this act is just a justification of safety in case of unexpected circumstances, the rest of the group just couldn't help but be wary and anxious towards those citizens carrying guns. No matter what if a fight broke out, Kanzaki and the rest had no choice but to murder this people, at most they would like to avoid that kind of situation.

From the side, Commanding officer Zhang is currently talking towards one of the leader of the people in town as he tried to persuade them that they meant no ill will. naturally in order to converse with them he had no choice but to use their native language.

"мы просто проходим мимо, мы не причиняем вреда"(we're just passing through, we mean no harm)

"как мы можем быть уверены? вы, ребята, носите оружие, мы не можем позволить никому в нашем городе носить оружие"(how can we be sure? you guys are carrying guns, we cant just let anyone in our town carrying guns)

"мы просто несем их для нашей собственной безопасности, мы принадлежим к организации по уничтожению хаоса... у нас была миссия по поиску группы террористов, скрывающихся на земле россии... как только мы убедимся, что у вас, ребята, нет связи к указанной террористической группе, мы затем уйдем"(we are just carrying them for our own safety, we belong to the chaos breaker organization... we had a mission to search for a group of terrorist hiding in the land of Russia... once we make sure that you guys had no connection to the said terrorist group, we will then leave)

"внутри нас нет террористов"(there are no terrorist within us)

"я тоже хочу в это верить, но если вы не дадите нам провести расследование, мы просто не можем оставить этот город без подозрений"
(i want to believe that too, but unless you let us investigate, we just can't let this town go off without suspicion)

"... Отлично! нам нечего скрывать"(... Fine! we have nothing to hide)

With that Commanding officer Zhang then returned to the group as he ordered them all.

 "Turn on your translators, were going to investigate this town"
