Stella looked up at the Apex Champions banners that hung from high parts of the area. On one of the rock towers, her face with a scowl showed up as it signified that she had won the last game she played.

With a sigh, she thought to herself, 'Man, I need to change my pose.. I look too intimidating. I don't want people to think I'm mean..'

She was brought back to reality by another Legend, who was of course, Mirage.

"Heyy, Invis! I was uh.. I was just wondering, where- uh- where's Glitch? I haven't seen her in the Dropship and I'm a little scared that she may have been left behind on Frontier.."

"Oh, didn't she tell you? She went back home. She said something along the lines of flowers and needing medicine." Stella responded.

Mirage's face dropped. "Wait, what? But she-.. she didn't tell me anything.." he mumbled, looking into Stella's eyes. "C-C'mon, this has to be a joke, right? Sh-she wouldn't leave without sayin' goodbye, right?"

Stella rested a hand on the Legend's shoulder. "I'm sure she'll come back soon. She just had to leave for one Season! The Seasons only last three months! If you think about it, it isn't too long." She smiled.

"Yeah, but.. still, three months? Without the only other Legend who actually relates and doesn't degrade me for being a little egotistical?"

One of the cameramen approached Mirage upon hearing his emotions.

You see, the Apex Games weren't just a war against other squads. It was also a sort of drama between characters, hence the reason everyone was filmed on the Dropships.

As he zoomed in, Mirage noticed him and snapped.

"Get your damn camera out of my face!"

The cameraman stumbled backwards, taken by surprise at the usually calm and collected Legend raising his voice like that.

Mirage let out a deep huff, staring into the camera. "My bad! Just going through some stuff, haha. I'll be good though!" He smirked, blowing a kiss to the camera and potential viewers in case he was live.

Stella realized how much he and her friend were alike. They could put on such a good mask to keep people happy.. but even they had breaking points. Even they had moments where they broke down.

Justina leaving was the cause of Elliott's snap. The reason he overreacted.

She looked closer and saw that under his goggles (which he never wore,) was a single AirPod. He always knew Justina liked those.

Stella let out a sigh after a moment when the cameraman left. "So.. what're you listening to?"

"Oh.. just some band Glitch made me listen to. I'm not the biggest fan, but I kinda stan J-Hope, not gonna lie..."

Stella snickered, "And why are you listening to it?"

Mirage's face flushed red.

"W-well, ah- G-Glitch is gone for the Season, so what else am I supposed to use to remind me of her?" He stuttered out.

"What song?"

"It's a um.. a remix of I Need U.. she likes the remixes, mostly 'cause they aren't too over the top or butchered like the American radio is," he spoke.

Stella laughed, "So you pay more attention to Justina than you do the Games, huh?"

Mirage blinked.

"..who?"

Oh, shit.

Justina's phone dinged repeatedly, even though it was silenced.
