No, I am not sorry for the tooth-rotting fluff I am about to present to you. ^~^

Cold.

The weather outside made Stella's body shiver and shake, goosebumps riding all over her skin. She wanted to be home and tucked under her blankets in the arms of her bi-colored-haired boyfriend, but he was nowhere to be found.

He said he'd meet her at the cafe they'd first met in. For their first date he took her to a lovely little corner coffee shop and that was their "place".

Their place of love, safety and joy.

But now, twelve minutes later, and Stella was starting to get goosebumps for a different reason.

Did he find someone better?

Was he leading her on this entire time?

Surely not, she tried to reassure herself, he'd never do that.

She promised herself that after twenty minutes, she'd go home. She wasn't going to be stood up by Shouto just because he was good-looking and stole his father's credit card.

She heard the chime that signaled the door opening, but she didn't care for it. She didn't hear Shouto greeting her.

Instead, she heard an uneven and loud pace of steps, and an obnoxious yawn. She looked up and saw someone in an oversized, black pullover jacket. The hood was covering their face.

The loud stranger sat at her table, lifting the black hood off their head and rubbing their eyes.

"Justina??"

"Oh fuckshitbiscuits, hey- I'm just.. I'm sorry Shittou's a little baby right now. He said something about a gift and making it special and whatnot so he sent me here to-"

she was interrupted by a yawn,

"-distract you. How am I doing?"

"Fantastic," Stella spoke sarcastically, straining her neck to look around the cafe. "Where did Shouto go?"

"He said he had to make something.. a gift.. iunno, I didn't pay attention. I'm too sleep deprived, I keep passing out everywhere I go. Not even Keigo can keep me up at this point, and he does a pretty decent job at keeping me awake with his loud, feathery ass."

Stella laughed quietly, shaking her head. "Sounds like a personal problem."

"Oh my god, it IS! Fuck, I can't even live on coffee anymore! And god FORBID that I sleep. I take naps, sure, but hero work has me so fucking tired, dude, you don't even know. On-call heroism fuckin' sucks.."

Justina paused to take a fresh, ice-cold bottle of cola from the void in her pocket.

"Especially with my quirk?? Shit, I just wear a hoodie or anything that's got pockets, n' suddenly I'm a celebrity."

She sipped the drink, blinking slowly.

Stella reached over and brushed some hair out of the exhausted hero's eyes.

"Just be glad you aren't swarmed with fans like your mister number two. The eleventh hero isn't too bad, especially for someone who can't fight unless she creates a metal bat from her pocket."

Stella thought for a second.

"Nevermind, actually, it's really good. You don't even know how to fight during hand-to-hand combat, so that rank is impressive."

Summoning her kitsune ears and tails, Stella sighed as she flicked them in an irritated manner.

"Meanwhile all I've got is this stupid Kitsune quirk. I'm not a martial artist like Ojirou, I can't even hold my weight on my own tails! And I have more than him!"

"Well, you're one rank under me. I don't see that as anything too bad," the struggling hero shrugged, looking around the coffee shop before spotting a certain man with bi-colored hair.

"Alright, Stel, I gotta go. It was lovely seein' ya, though!" She shot up from her seat.

'What was that all about..? She just had to distract me? If she left, then that must mean-'

"Hello, my dearest. I apologize for my tardiness. I was preparing something for you." He murmured, taking the seat Justina previously was in.

"What was so important that you had to miss two dates on Christmas and New Year's, Shouto? I'm tired of you being late! You always say you'll make it up to me the day after, but you're absent." She huffed, her face turning red as she raised her voice slightly.

Shouto visibly shrunk, looking down at the table with his face clouded with shame. "I.. I apologize, my love. I truly do. It's just.. well.."

"It's just what?"

Silence.

A long moment of silence.

Stella closed her eyes and rubbed her forehead, her ears flattening with anger. "Shouto, listen.. if you don't want to be with me anymore, just say it. I'm tired of being stood up and-"

"Will you marry me?"

What?

"What?"

"My apologies, did I not say it loud enough..? I asked if you would-"

Stella opened her eyes and saw her peppermint-haired boyfriend, kneeling on the ground with a ring in a box held within his hands. His eyes held hope, adoration, love, and more.

"Oh my god.. Shouto, this—this is what you've been hiding?"

She was met with silence once more.

Then a deep breath.

"Yes. I.. I wanted it to be formal. I planned many, many times, but the ring was never ready.. I understand if you say no because of my actions, and I wouldn't be upset if you-"

"You dumbass, of course I'm saying yes!" Stella shouted at him, grabbing the attention of everyone in the cafe.

Shouto blinked, then stood up quickly with small tears threatening to form in his eyes. "You- you mean it-? Even after.. after all I've do-"

Stella shut him up by grabbing his cheeks and pressing her lips against his in a long, sweet kiss. Shouto's face heated up, and his eyes closed slowly as he relaxed from the sudden action.

They pulled away after a minute, both of their faces flushed a bright red color.

"I love you, Shouto. Nothing will stop me from loving you.. but next time you plan on missing two holidays with me, let me know in advance, okay..?"

Shouto let out a small and shaky laugh as he slipped the ring onto Stella's left ring finger. "Okay.."

The ring was silver, laced with gold flowers that were intricately carved and plastered into the hem. The gem consisted three colors: red, white and gold.

The color of Shouto's hair, Stella's quirk, and what Shouto saw her heart as.

Gold.

Justina was sobbing and taking photos, screaming, "I'M GONNA BE AN AUNT WHEN Y'ALL FUCK!!"
