At first, I still can't move on. I was really worried - because of what happened to Megan earlier, and drained after going out with Kuya Jacks. I didn't expect something like that will happen again. Good thing I was with Kuya Jacks and we're able to help Megan. Tho I didn't really do anything helpful. After that, when Kuya Jacks dropped me off at our house, he gave me everything he bought at the mall! Including the panda stuff and the groceries. 

And I was like I don't know how and what to react. All along I thought he will give it to someone else since he bought a lot but in the end, he gave those to me. Sabi niya gifts daw niya sakin para sa birthday ko - dahil malapit na daw when the truth is next month pa naman. I don't understand why does he need to do that wherein fact he doesn't need to give me a lot for my every birthday.

Hays.

Maybe I'd never get used to it.

Kuya Jacks is really spoiling me.

Sa dami ng binigay ni Kuya Jacks at pinamili namin sa grocery nagpatulong na ako sa ibang househelp na ipasok iyon sa kwarto ko.

It felt awkward carrying those gifts when I saw my brother sitting on the sofa while watching me enter our living room.

Or should I say, staring at the paper bags I am carrying.

"Jaegi geugeol pogi haesseo?" he uttered.

Translation: Did Jacks give you those?

I nodded. "Ne..."

Translation: Yes

He rolled his eyes. "Tsk. He's spoiling you again."

Ngumuso ako. "He said it's for my birthday."

"Manang, pasabay na lang po ito." sabi ko, ibinigay yung mga dala ko sa kay Manang at kinuha naman yung dala niyang isang box at paper bag.

Matapos ko makuha iyon ay lumapit ako kay Kuya saka inilapag sa center table yung box at paper bag.

"What's that?" Kunot nuong tanong niya.

"Uhh... peace offering?" I smiled, remained standing beside the center table.

He crossed his arms against his chest and arched his brow.

"Hindi mo ako madadala sa ganyan, Eurica."

He may not let me see his true reaction but I know my Kuya has a soft spot for me in his heart.

And I know he's now curious kung ano yung dala ko.

Pag alis kanina, nagpasama na rin ako Kuya Jacks kanina na bilhin yun para may peace offering ako sa kapatid ko. Naaalala ko kasi nung ako yung galit may peace offering din siya. Tho hindi naman kailangan every time na may ganoon. Because I know my brother. He couldn't resist me. And I couldn't too. I'm just doing this for him to see that I'm sincere. Also, kami na nga lang ang magkapatid mag aaway pa ba kami?

I frowned. "Sayang naman 'tong cookies and cream ice cream cake, Stephen Curry's signed basketball and Golden State Warriors T-shirt." sinadya ko talagang sabihin na lahat kasi baka mamaya magbago na isip niya at tumigil na sa pagsusungit.

Yung ice cream cake, that was his favorite but if ever he wouldn't accept it, that's fine with me. Pero kung iyong signed basketball at t- shirt ang tanggihan niya, I don't know what to react na. He love basketball so much! Kaya hindi niya matatanggihan yun!

Ang rare na lang kaya makakita ng ganoong bola sabi sakin ni Kuya Jacks! Buti nga daw may nakita pa kaming ganoon sa mall kanina.

It was a bit pricey but I know it'd be worth it. Para kay Kuya naman e. And I know hindi niya matatanggihan yun. Gusto lang yata niya panindigan ang pagiging masungit ngayon.
