4 years later...
It's true that everything happens for a reason because after all the worst thing happened to me, I've learned that life is not always about rainbows and unicorns. And happy endings are very few and far between.
I'm now living independently and I learned it the hard way. But when Magui came, she was like a silver lining of my life. Every time I wanted to give up and lose hope, just seeing Magui automatically gives me hope that I'll overcome my problems.
Honestly, the challenges He gives us surely give lessons and strengthen us. I learned not to always rely on the people around me because I knew at the end of the day, all I had was myself.
We have to be strong for ourselves because not everyone meant to stay in our life forever. Some are just passing by to give us lessons.
I took a shower and wear a white smocked puff sleeve top and high waisted denim pants paired with black low heel sandals. After fixing myself, I went to the kitchen to cook breakfast.
While frying an egg, I heard a faint voice.
"Mama, what are you doing?" Her hair is messy and she was rubbing her eyes. She was wearing a pair of pink pajamas with a Hello Kitty design and pink indoor slippers.
"Mama's preparing breakfast," told her.
"Okay, but I want milk." She said in a small and sleepy voice.
I opened the ref and brought out fresh milk. "Here's your milk."
"Thank you!" She cheerfully said after I gave her the milk.
I prepared fried rice, scrambled egg, Koko Krunch and fresh milk. Nag timpla na rin ako dalawang kape.
"Yay, Koko Krunch!" Magui clapped her little hands.
"Good morning!" She greeted us when she saw us eating in the dining.
Magaret Alana is only 4 years old. Her skin is fair. She has long black wavy hair, and almond-shaped eyes like mine.
Magui pouted her lips, nagtatampo ulit panigurado dahil wala pa ang Papa niya. "I woke up early pa naman to see him." My heart tightened because she really thought her Papa is her real father.
