Forbidden Love (01)

Once upon a time, there was a place called "Senbonzakura kingdom". It was ruled by a King and Queen who's names remain unknown. They had a son named Jack.

And if you think that this place was like the kingdoms you see in fairytales, well, think again.

"Heyy, has anyone seen my shoes?" Prince Jack called out to his assistant, Hachi. Tonight was the the kingdom's annual midnight ball, and he was getting ready. He was putting in his shirt while brushing his teeth.

Hachi came running towards the room where Jack was with a pair of shoes. He gave it to the prince and continued to clean the ballroom.

~Later at 9:00 pm~

The ball started at nine pm sharp. Royalties from different countries came.

"Jack! Long time no see!" Prince Spade called out to Jack, they were close friends.

Princess Rose and her brother, Cyan arrived too. Princess Queen and her companion, a dog named Roko, came in late.

"Who's ready to party?!!" The DJ, prince Luna, started to play some music, the crowd cheered. This ball wasn't like any other ball, it was more of a party.

More people started to arrive, even the far countries.

While the prince made his way to the food table, he bumped into someone.

"S-sorry!" He apologized, by his tone, Jack could figure that he was scared.

Jack glanced at the boy, he was wearing a jacket with a fire design, his hair looked like it was on fire, and was kinda messy.

"P-prince Jack?!" The red head was shocked to see Jack.

He fell down on his knees "P-please don't p-punish me!" He begged.

"W-woah, dude, stand up! I'm not gonna hurt you" He said in a calm voice to not make the red head freak out.  

Fire head look up with relief, but still had a few tears in his eyes. Jack helped him stand up and wiped the boy's watery eyes.

"Hey, could you tell me your name?" Jack asked.

"I-It's Akai Tsubasa" the boy blushed, then turned away. Jack held the Akai's face and made him face him.

"Wanna dance?" Jack asked Akai, he agreed.

He held Akai's hand and pulled him onto the dance floor. Everyone was also there, but since the ballroom is big, they still had plenty of space.

Jack's POV

It seems he knew the steps too, since we both knew what we were doing.

I admit, he was good. He really knew how to dance.

For the rest of the night, I hung out with Akai. I even introduced him to my friends, they also seemed to like him like I do.

I also found out that he wasn't royalty.
