Sirius pov
"Sirius! Oh god, wake up Sirius!"
I open my eyes slightly to see who's calling me. I look around and see Elspeth leaning into the magical wall that separates us. I crawl over to her, "What are you doing here?"
"We came to get you but I guess that sort of backfired didn't it?" She laughs lightly but stops gripping her side.
"She hurt you? Shit. I'm so sorry Elspeth!" I cry out to her.
She shakes her head, "I'm fine, oh god it's great to see you again! I-I-I thought you were gone.."
Her body racks with silent sobs, I put my hand to the glass, "I'm fine. See, I'm not gone."
She puts her hand up to mine and I hear Mum coming down the hall, "Go lay back down and don't you dare get up. Understand?"
She nods and rushes back to where had been laying. I crawl back over to the corner just as Mum walks in. She smiles, "I see you've found you're little friend."
I glare up at her, I don't say anything. She sighs, "Are you ready to say it?"
With my eyebrows raised I cross my arms. She smiles and pulls a knife from her pocket. Instead of threatening me with it she walks over to glass letting herself through to where Elspeth is still laying. Mum kicks her side and I cry out. Mum sits Elspeth up by pulling her hair, "Wake up. I know you're awake."
Elspeth opens her eyes and I see the fear in them. Mum places the knife to her throat and looks up at me, "Will you say it?"
"Don't you dare Sirius!" Elspeth gasps and Mum pushed the knife harder into her neck.
I stay silent staring at Elspeth's eyes. Mum presses just hard enough into her neck to draw her blood. Elspeth cries out trying to reach behind her. Mum uses her wand to tie her hands and feet, "It's your choice Sirius. Say it and you can go. But don't and I will kill her."
I feel tears streaming down my face and Elspeth says again, "No, don't you dare!"
Mum takes the knife and smashes the end into her head knocking her out, I cry out again, "SAY IT GODDAMIT!"
I shake my head and Mum sighs sliding the knife across Elspeth throat. Blood gushes from the wound and I cry out, stumbling forward. Mum walks out. Leaving the glass open. I get up unsteadily and rush over to her side, "No, no, no, no! Elspeth come on get up! You have to get up, Please!" I reach for one of the sheets to press against her neck to try to stop the bleeding. But there's too goddamn much blood.
I can't see through all my tears and all the blood. I run my fingers through her hair when the door slams open. I look back to see Emma standing there. She freezes when she sees Elspeth laying in front of me bleeding. She turns and runs out of the room. Seconds later she comes back carrying a first aid kit, "Here put these over her neck!"
I reach out and grab the bandages from her hand removing the sheets. More blood gushes out but Emma puts a huge bandage right over it, "Did she leave?"
Emma glances at me, "Yes." Why is she here?"
"She was coming to find us! I think the others are here too." I say leaning against the wall once the bleeding stops.
"I'll go try to find them. Stay here, okay?" She says getting up.
All I can do is nod, she walks out of the room using the wall to help support her. I sit here looking at Elspeth. She looks so peaceful, like she's asleep. I morph into my dog form and curl up against her side. I let out a whimper. I close my eyes and fall asleep next to her.
