Regulus pov
I hear the knock on the door and I get up striding towards the door. Severus is standing there, "Hey."
He raises his head slightly, "Ready?"
I brush my hands on my pants nodding, "Yeah, at least as ready as I'll ever be."
He gives me a small smirk, "You'll be let in. Trust me, he's only doing this so it doesn't look like he's playing favorites."
I scrunch my nose a bit, "Since when did he start to care?"
Severus shakes his head, "Watch what you say to him. You'll get yourself killed."
I look down at my feet as we walk out the front door, "I know."
I lock the door behind me as my stomach does somersaults. Severus holds out his arm not looking at me, I hesitantly put my hand on my arm and with a crack we leave Grimmauld place.
We stand in front of a gate as the wind whips our hair. I glance at Severus, "This definitely boosts my confidence."
He chuckles walking right through the gate, "Now come on you big moron. We better hurry," he looks at his watch, "Don't want to be late."
I stare at him and start towards the gate, "Oddly enough this isn't even the weirdest thing I've done." I mutter to myself as I stand next to Severus.
He's still smirking as he leads me up to the house in front of us. He brings me upstairs off in the far corner of the house. I hear muffled voices coming from the room to our right. Severus pushes it open, "My lord. Regulus Black is here."
The voices stop and I feel all the eyes land on me, I look around. I see about five people sitting around a table with Voldemort at the head of it. He stands up, "Regulus! Welcome if you'd take a seat next to Bellatrix."
I glance around at the mention of my cousins name and see her sitting directly to Voldemorts right. I walk slowly over to her and sit in my seat, her smile sends shivers up my spine.
"Now that our final two guests have arrived, we can continue with our discussion. The prophecy.
"As many of you know, the order has been trying to stop me for the past years especially now that this prophecy has been discovered, we have a much... bigger issue on our hands." Voldemort says slowly.
Thank god I had been caught up on all of this back a couple of years from the others, otherwise I'd be so lost.
"Sybil thinks a child will be able to defeat the greatest wizard alive! But what she thinks is wrong! We together can rule this world and rid it of the mistakes in purity."
Cheers from different people break out and I start to clap along with the rest. Everyone goes silent as a peicering scream comes from a room above us. I jump looking up. Voldemort stands up so quickly, his eyes flash an angry red, "Barty, what have I said about keeping our guests quiet?"
A young boy jumped up, "My lord, I'm so sorry about this! Please forgive me!"
Voldemort waves his arm, "We'll decide that later, now go!"
The boy, Barty, runs off out of the room and Voldemort sits down his snake like eyes scanning the room, "Anything any of you have heard? Are there any traitors here?"
My heart pounds in my chest as I shake my head. No one else says any thing and Voldemort nods, "Get out of here."
Every stands and leaves and Severus waits for me by the door. "Regulus, would you wait?"
I look back at Voldemort and say, "Oh course my lord."
Severus stalks away grumbling and I stand in front of the snake man, "Is there something you wanted to ask my lord?"
