Sirius pov
I stand against the doorframe staring into the room where Regulus is laying, not moving.
"Sirius he's going to be fine. Euphemia did what she could." Elspeth says from behind me.
I don't take my eyes off of my brother, "What if it's not enough? El... what if he dies?"
She doesn't say anything for a few minutes. "Sirius there's nothing else we can do. All we can do is wait."
I turn away from the room and look at Elspeths brown calming eyes, "I know that. I just wish there was something else I could do..."
She draws me into a hug and pulls me down the stairs into the kitchen, pushing me into a chair. She grabs a plate from the counter putting it in front of me, "You need to eat something Fluffy."
I smile at the nickname, "Yeah alright."
I start to shovel to food into my face as James and Lily walk in quickly, "Is everything okay? I heard you guys were here."
Elspeth smiles, "Everything is fine, something happened to Regulus."
James looks at me but I keep my eyes focused on my food. Elspeth leads him to the sitting room as Lily sits across from me, "Are you okay?"
I glance up, "I'm fine."
She reaches across the table grabbing my hand, "It's okay not to be." She says barely above a whisper.
My eyes start to burn as I take my hand gently away from Lily, "I know that. And I'm fine."
I stand up and walk out the back door only for Lily to follow me, "Lily I'm fine go back i-inside."
I feel my hands tremble as she steps toward me. I feel tears fall down my face as I wipe them away quickly, "Sirius, stop that, we're here to help okay? You dont need to hide things from us. The whole point of having friends and brothers is to be able to lean on them in hard times. Such as now. You need someone Sirius. Whether it's me, Elspeth, Emma, James, Peter, or Remus, we are all here for you. We always will be."
I choke back a sob turning away from her, falling to my knees. She strides in front of me falling down to hug me, "It's all going to be fine. We're going to get through all of this together."

Regulus POV
I push myself up glancing around. I have no clue where I am, I stand up quickly looking worriedly for my wand. I don't see it anywhere near me. Without a second thought I pace to the door and tug it open looking down the hall. I ignore the pounding headache that spreads through my head, as I look for anything that could explain where I am.
Distant voices echo throughout the halls to me as I recognize one as James, Sirius' best mate. I let it a small sigh of relief before my heart starts to pound again. Why the fuck am I here? I was supposed to die, I did die! Or did I?
I walk slowly toward the stairs using the wall as a slight guide, I stumble down them to enter the sitting room where James and Emma are sitting muttering back and forth.
"I'm worried about him James. He cares a lot for Reg and being as he's the one who saved him... it's to much for him to handle right now." Emma mutters barely above a whisper.
The room is silent for a moment before James says, "He can handle it Em. I know he can, he may need help with it, but he can deal with it."
"I mean he is the all mighty Sirius Black!" James calls only to burst into laughter along with Emma.
