Joy woke up with a pillow thrown at her face, she groaned. She immediately put the cover over her head and tried to go back to sleep.
"Hey! Get up lazy, you have assignments today!" Sumni exclaimed as she yanked Joy out of her twin-sized bed. Joy once again groaned and got up. She wasn't really a morning person, but she had work and so she had to get up.
Joy got dressed and put on her red skirt, white dress shirt, and a pair of velvet socks with black heels. She was ready for her morning. She went straight to the servant's quarters and saw some of her colleagues. She greeted them and unknowingly sat next to hwasa.
They read what they had to do that day and went straight to work. Joy and Hwasa were paired together to go to the Yellow King's castle and receive some paperwork for the Red King.
"Hey, Joy, is it alright if I ask a question?" Hwasa inquired, trying to break the silence between the two.
"What is it?"
"What did you ever do with that bottle of whiskey that was in the king's room a couple of days ago?" Hwasa asked in her husky voice.
"Umm, I threw it out, it wasn't any good." Joy lied.
Hwasa nodded and didn't say anything for the rest of the ride. They soon made it to the Yellow palace where they were met by the Yellow King at the door. He smiled and welcomed them with a hello.
"Hello ladies, I expected your arrival," Jin said with a smile as he assisted both of them out of the car.
As they were entering the castle he walked beside Joy, chatting with her before entering his drawing room and grabbing the papers. "Here you go. Tell Namjoon these are the papers he asked for, also the list of gifts Irene wants," Jin told as he handed a stack of papers to the red-haired girl. -----------------------------------------------------------

"Okay, thank you, your majesty." Joy bowed and went walking out of the room with Hwasa bidding a farewell and to see him soon. Joy liked him, he was friendly, and as though even if he is royalty he didn't force his stature onto her. Hwasa and Joy were about to walk out the gate to the car when they heard rumbling from a distance.
The ground shook and a loud crash was made as a huge minotaur rushed in and flipped over the car. It came out of the nearby forest and as on a rampage, it spotted the girls and ran towards them Hwasa took off but Joy stayed put, she confronted the beast and looked him in the eye.
As she was about to cast a spell, she heard men screaming and charging at the beast, they shot at it till it was dead on the ground lifeless. Joy sighed, she took slow steps towards the creature and knelt, and slowly caressed the dead creature's head.
"Potest ergo anima tua requiem" she whispered with her eyes closed. She was chanting a spell, so the beast's soul could see peace. That was the duty of a witch. To protect creatures of the enchanted forest and to lay the souls of the dead to rest.
Jin ran up to her and dragged her away from the minotaur. "Joy are you ok!?!?" He asked with a concerned tone. She nodded, and he sighed with relief. He picked her up bridal style and carried her back to the castle. Hwasa had picked up the dropped paperwork and followed behind, Joy was sitting in a yellowish lounge room waiting for him to come back.
He was calling Namjoon and telling him that Hwasa and Joy would be staying the night due to the minotaur sightings all over the kingdom. Joy knew why it was happening, it was mating season, and the Male minotaur becomes extremely aggressive towards everyone and loses control when in the presence of a female. Jin came back in and stood at the doorway, hands at the side of his hips.
"Well, I told Namjoon what happened, he said he'll send someone in the morning to pick you up," he sighed. The girls nodded and soon after followed a maid to two separate guest chambers. They slept and awaited to go home the next morning. -----------------------------------------------------------

The sound of the monitor beeped and the faint breathing of Jungkook's grandmother was barely heard. His grandmother fell bedridden, sick, and slowly dying.
Jungkook was at her side holding her hand, he couldn't believe he would finally be losing his last family member. The person who took care of him all these years will finally be gone. No coming back. He held her hand tight, her eyes closed as she took her nap. Looking peaceful, as if she accepted her fate before it was to ever come.
V knocked on the door, Jungkook turned his head with tears in his eyes and cheeks stained. "What is it V?" Jungkook whined out as he continued to slowly sob.
"I've just been informed that all the creature's of the enchanted forest are going to be acting up"
Jungkook nodded, sending V somewhere else. Right now all he wants to do is be alone with his grandmother and be by her side till she takes her last breath. And he can say his final goodbye and I love you.
He had been by her side the second she said she felt ill. He was always so caring and the last person who truly loved him is now leaving this world and he didn't know how to cope.
Jungkook lost his mother and father to the conflicts of the war between wizards and witches, they were killed trying to help civilians. Jungkook had an older brother too but lost him to the enchanted forest. He had run in there and never came back, so he was presumed dead, and Jungkook was the only heir to the throne of the blue kingdom.
But he was too young to become king, so his grandmother had to take over and once again rule over the large kingdom. Jungkook had fallen asleep next to his grandmother, tightly holding her hand which was losing its warmth. V had walked in, had put a blanket over the young man's shoulders, and turned off the light.
V walked out of the room and started silently sobbing, he had thought of Jungkook's grandmother as his grandmother as well. He had only grown up with his father and had no other mother figure, but Jungkook's grandmother.
He grew up with her caring for him as if he were one of her own grandchildren. And it hurt to see her in such a state that he broke down, sobbing for the first time in years, he was letting it all out right there. All of his emotions of the past years and even now. It hurt, it hurt so bad that the cold-hearted warrior was crying, feeling pain, sadness, and sorrow.
He stood up off the ground and walked to his room. He put down his sword, took off his uniform, and put on his regular clothes. He put a headband on and tied his curly hair back a little, he turned on some music so he calmed himself down. He slowly fell asleep having nightmares, but he refused to wake up. He sat there and dealt with the pain and fear his own mind was causing him. Because nothing hurts more than the pain and fear of the real world.
