Hwasa was at the castle doors waiting to greet the King as he had just gotten back from a vacation. As the doors opened, the Red King, but Joy wasn't with him. Then moments later what could only have been Joy walked in with several guards covering her with blankets and blocking her from anyone's sight.
Hwasa slightly looked up and caught a glimpse from the gap of the blanket and saw that the girl's hair wasn't red anymore but black. Which was weird, on why they decided to cover her. Soon after everyone went to their normal duties around the castle.
Hwasa was walking down the hall of the servant's quarters and noticed that Joy's room had guards in front of her door. A moment later the King walked out of the room, fixing himself, as one of the guards followed him and both walked away. Hwasa was curious so she decided to try to go into Joy's room, but was stopped by the guard. "Ma'am stop, no one is allowed in," the guard said in a monotone voice but it had power in it and it was intimidating.
"Why? I'm a friend of the person who sleeps here," Hwasa said, trying to move past the guard again.
"No one is allowed in except the king or someone with authorization."
"Come on please!" Hwasa pleaded. The guard looked her in the eye and stared her down till she backed off and walked away. She was just so curious about what was going on, so she tried asking around, but no one knew, and was left in the dark. Hwasa felt jealousy spike up, as she remembered seeing the King walk out of her room. What were they doing in there? What's going on, that no one is allowed in there? It was all too suspicious.
Later that evening Hwasa was summoned to the King's office. "Yes, your highness?" She bowed as she walked in and stood in front of his desk. "Okay, the reason I asked for you is to have you go to the Purple Queen's castle and retrieve some paperwork I accidentally sent over there." He said in a deep voice.
"Yes I'll go over there immediately"
"Okay good", he then sent her off with several guards to the Purple Kingdom. They were greeted by servants and told to wait. But as they were taking too long to retrieve the Purple Queen, she decided to go look for herself.
While looking around the castle she came across the assistant and tried to get her attention, but she was ignored. Hwasa decided to follow her quietly and ended up in a room lit by a few candles.
The queen was there, along with several other people. They were discussing something, and Hwasa listened closely and watched the queen's assistant to make sure she wasn't caught. "Okay, so here's our next problem. The Red King has a witch in his castle who seems to be working for him." the queen said, looking at the scrolls of papers. "We need to either kill her or capture her so that when we execute the plan she won't be able to stop us," she then held up a picture of Joy and Hwasa gasped, which caught Irene's attention.

"Who's there?" Irene asked, looking up at the door. Emerging behind it was a woman with a red dress and black thigh-high boots and long black hair. She was pretty and had a tan, Irene eyed her up and down. "Who are you?" She asked with power in her voice, staring directly into the girl's eyes, "My name is Hwasa, and I know the girl whom you are speaking of." she said quickly, trying to sound confident.
"Really?" Irene said, cocking an eyebrow.
"Yes and I can help you with whatever you're trying to do"
"Hm well if you're willing to help then you're willing to go against all 6 other kingdoms?" Irene chuckled, walking towards the girl. Hwasa nodded, "Yes, I am. But please promise me one thing" she answered. Irene nodded her head as a sign to let her continue. "Please make sure that I will end up with the Red King," Hwasa said quickly.
Irene burst out laughing and wobbled trying to keep her balance. She found what the girl said to be ridiculous, and it was so funny that tears were coming out of her eyes. "HAHAHA....fine I'll make sure of it. Now with that please take a seat and we'll discuss more of my "plan" that I have for the upcoming ball." Irene said walking back to her seat and having hwasa follow behind.
Irene would go on explaining how everything will go and with the new recruit, the job would be easier on the inside so Irene would have nothing to worry about. Soon, Hwasa left back to the red kingdom and Irene finished talking with some officials before reiterating to her chambers and falling down her bed.
She sighed and went to a cabinet and opened a bottle of wine that was there and downed it. She wanted to relax, but for some reason, she couldn't. She couldn't be as relaxed as she was when she was with Taehyung. So she kept drinking and drinking till she was so drunk in her room. It's not like she hasn't done this before, but she felt sad and missed him, she missed his touch and remembered how when both he and she were trapped in that cave he held her and comforted her when she was having a panic attack.
The way he made her feel, it was a feeling that she wished to experience once again. All her problems were gone when he was there and it made her wish she could feel like that without him. ---------------------------------------------------------

The ride back to the castle was a nerve-racking one. Her desire for Namjoon to be her's was all that she could think of.
The endless amounts of luxuries that she could have. How happy she would be. How perfect her life would become once Namjoon was finally in her arms. His warm embrace, his dazzling smile. His amazing personality. She couldn't wait to have it all. And as for Joy, her hatred for her ran deep.
She was a random girl who came into the kingdom and took over Hwasa's life. Stealing away everything that was meant for her. It was unfair. Unjustified. She should've just died when she was found in the damn field. But no, the old king was pure of heart and wanted the best for everyone.
She arrived back at the castle only to see Namjoon caressing the face of a hidden woman. She practically burst into tears seeing the sight. "That should be me!" She screamed as she ran into her room. She beat her pillows and ripped her blanket j to shreds. Breathing heavily she looked in a mirror and stared hard into her reflection.
"I'll kill Joy myself if it's the last thing I do. I'll get Namjoon and do whatever it takes..." she whispered to her, clenching her fist so hard she cut into the palms of her hands.
