They'd all been at the beach for almost 2 weeks now and it was the last day before they all had to go home. It was mid-day and everything was good. Taehyung and Irene were spending a lot of time together, as well as Jungkook and yeri.
The couples were doing their own things, occupying their time, and getting the most out of it. Irene and Taehyung were hiking near some rocks and having a conversation.
"Are you excited?" Taehyung asked as he led the way through bushes.
"Excited for what?" Irene replied, confused about what he was asking.
"For your birthday party. It's in a month I know jungkook is slightly excited"
"Well, I wouldn't say excited, more like looking forward to it. I mean I am turning 30," Irene chuckled.
They made it to a cliff and both decided to take a break and just relax before going back to the houses. Irene hunched off her backpack and laid it on the floor, taking out a blanket and a couple of fruits.
"You know I enjoy spending time with you," she said before taking a bite of an apple.
"Really? I'm honored, your majesty," Taehyung chuckled looking at the woman. He stared at her for a while before looking off into the distance. He sighed and just stood up and walked to the edge of the cliff. Irene watched him with a confused look and raised an eyebrow.
"What are you doing?" She asked. Getting up and standing next to the man. He didn't answer, but just turned and looked at her. They looked into each other's eyes and didn't break eye contact. But soon the moment was ruined when the ground shook and the edge of the cliff the couple was standing on broke and both fell onto a ledge, both hanging on for dear life.
"AHHHH HELP!!" Both cried out, but no one answered. They were too far for anyone to hear them. Looking around, Taehyung noticed a cave at the edge of where they were hanging. He pulled himself up and gestured to Irene to give him her hand.
"What are you doing?!" Irene said with panic in her voice.
"Trying to have us stay alive now give me your hand woman!" Taehyung screamed. She gave him her hand and he pulled her up and slowly started walking to the cave. They both made it safe and both took a sigh of relief that they were out of danger.
"Oh god that was terrifying," Taehyung said, bending over and putting his hands on his knees.
"Oh my god, what are we gonna do? Our stuff is back up there, and we're too far away from everyone else," Irene panicked. She was freaking out and didn't know what to do. Taehyung walked up to her and took her by the shoulders and looked into her eyes.
"Hey, it's going to be okay. Trust me." He said sternly. She nodded, somewhat relaxing, she was now putting her trust in a man she had just met over a week ago.
